Amazing Day - This was an amazing day. Worth every penny. Danny, our guide, cant be praised enough. He provided a huge amount of information presented with humour and lots of insight into cultural behaviour and norms. He was also very humorous. The trip last around 10 hours but none of it dragged. I would highly recommend it!

Book the trip - The experience was very good as the scenery that I got to see was absolutely beautiful on a very warm day. The sites I would have never found had I not gone on the trip and I'm absolutely grateful for it and I would highly recommend anyone who goes over to the city to take the same tour as well. The sights and the visual pictures were able to get as well as being able to share some of the memories and some of the history behind everything is something you can't put a price on.

A fun day trip with 3 visits to 2 towns and the waterfalls - It was fun and the guide Dani knew a lot to tell and did very well in fluent English (and Spanish) waterfalls is not very special but understand that this is stuck to it

An OK trip but nothing special - It was a nice trip. The local guide was knowledgeable and had a very good command of English. However, the information and instructions were mostly given on the bus, while driving. At the places of visit, you are on your own (a 15 min long guided walk was given at the Guadalest). Too much time given at the stops, 2 hours in each place (prepare to spend a lot of money due to 'touristy prices' and free time given), especially at the waterfalls, since its only a 30 min walk through the park which is excessively manicured and made for tourists, with no wilderness or natural figures left. It was an 8 hour and 20 min long trip, which was very tiring. This trip was only an average and was not my cup of tea.

It was informative visit but too expensive - It was nice excursion but expensive as seems paying travel expenses and sightseeing was independent mostly. The coach was hot and AC not working properly which with kids is not good idea.

My birthday experience in this trip. - I went on this trip alone to celebrate my birthday. The waterfalls were honestly the highlight — beautiful, refreshing, and absolutely worth seeing. One important note though: if you have any issues with your legs, back, or heart, be careful. The bus drops you quite far from the park entrance, and you’ll need to walk uphill on a very steep road. Inside the park, there are also a lot of stairs, so it can be physically demanding. I also want to sincerely highlight the bus driver — navigating such a large bus through narrow, winding mountain roads takes serious skill. That was genuinely impressive to watch. As for the guide, the tour was bilingual (Spanish and English), which was great. However, a major downside was that no information was provided about where to find restrooms. This became a real issue, as many people in the group were constantly searching for toilets. I had to ask local shop owners in Guadalest, and in the waterfalls park I only found one by accident at the very end. In Altea, it was also unclear where to go. This is basic information that should absolutely be communicated during a tour. Guadalest itself is a nice and scenic place, but in my opinion, about 1 to 1.5 hours is more than enough to see everything. The rest of the time seems designed for tourists to spend money in souvenir shops or restaurants. The souvenirs are not unique — you can find the same items in pretty much any tourist town. As for the restaurants, the food quality and service were disappointing, so I’d strongly recommend bringing your own food. Altea, unfortunately, was the weakest part of the trip. By the time we arrived, everyone was already very tired, and it felt unnecessary to include this stop. There’s not much to do beyond taking a photo from a viewpoint, and even that view isn’t particularly special compared to other coastal spots. We were given two hours there, which felt excessive. The time in Altea also seemed structured around spending money in souvenir shops or sitting in restaurants. Again, the souvenirs are generic, and the restaurants were poor in terms of quality, service, and cleanliness. Coming from someone with experience in the restaurant industry, this was genuinely disappointing. Another issue is that there are almost no places to sit and rest in the city center unless you go to a restaurant. If you’re not interested in spending money just to sit down, you’ll need to leave the center area. I ended up finding a nearby bus stop and spent most of the time there waiting for the group to leave. Overall, the waterfalls were excellent, but the rest of the itinerary felt poorly balanced and unnecessarily long in certain locations.
