Highlight of our holiday - do not miss out - We had a fantastic trip with Gregory as our driver and Kathy as our guide. Kathy met us in our hotel reception and was so friendly right from the off. She was a very informative, reassuring, and kind voice throughout the trip. We felt very safe in Gregory’s capable hands on the roads. I was impressed by he and Kathy’s knowledge of the local area (even outwith the designated stops). Kathy was just a fantastic guide. She gave us a lot of information on the coach and when we first stopped to ensure we wouldn’t get lost etc. It was also really clear that she had really strong relationships with the shop owners and locals at Guadalest and Algar which was a great endorsement for both her and them. (Also resulting in great services for us!) At both stops, we had two hours to explore on our own. For Guadalest, we purchased 3x museum tickets at a special rate from Kathy. We initially explored the village then went to the museums. We were so impressed by Guadalest (gorgeous) but also by all three museums. We would really recommend any other visitors also attend. Don’t be fooled by how small Guadalest is, as we felt we were a little tight for time to fully enjoy and explore, however I think the two hours was a fair length of time in terms of the full day tiring you out somewhat. As for Algar - wow. Admission to the waterfalls was included in the tour price. Kathy led us up to the waterfalls to ensure we got in okay and let us know the best facilities to try for food or drink in the area. We spent most of our two hours at the waterfalls itself and really really enjoyed it. We were able to meet Kathy and much of the rest of our group at a cafe down the road (we both had to grab just a quick ice lolly as a snack) ahead of going back to our bus. Again, perhaps a bit tight for time however having been to Guadalest, travelled to Algar, then travelling home, I think in the picture of the full day the time we had was sufficient. We both said it was one of the absolute highlights of our holiday. Two fantastic places, made all the better by wonderful organisation and knowledge. Nothing I would change about this trip and would highly recommend to others. I will also be looking out for Round Town Travel to book any excursions through them next time I am in Spain. Well done Kathy and Gregory, great trip.

Wilfred The Great! - We went on this trip today as a family of four…with a 17 year old and 16 year old. Pick up was prompt… transport and driver were both great… Guadalest was simply beautiful. Just the right amount of time there before we headed to the waterfalls…stunning but cold. Again, just the right amount of time there. Wilf was our guide and we couldn’t have wished for better. He was polite, respectful, professional and very funny. He was attentive and explained everything clearly. It came across that he took such pride in tie role and genuinely wanted us all to have the best time… which we did ( even the teenagers!!) Thank you so much Wilf… one of the highlights of our holiday.

Guadalest and Algar Fall Day Trip - Day trip from Benidorm. Coach arrived on time. Seats already allocated which I found good practice. The rep was extremely informative and knew the area. Travelling in October seemed to avoid large crowds and excessive temperatures. We purchased tickets on the coach for 3 museums in Guadalest recommended by the rep and well worth it. Guadalest is a must see trip. Trip concluded with 2 hours in Algar falls. You can swim if you want but we only walked to view. Not suitable for anyone who has limited mobility.

Beautiful experience that is totally worth it!! Lovely to be immersed in nature and absolutely refreshing to the soullut - The museum experiences were unique and the views spectacular. The driver Gregory was lovely and Kathy the tour guide gave a detailed description of what to expect and had great sense of humour which kept me entertained. As a solo traveller I never felt alone with Kathy's bubbly personality large as life!

Good visits, but better as two separate ones - Both visits are good, but having done them before, there is too much in one day. I would recommend doing them separately.

Long bus ride from Albir - Guadalest was an experience, stunning views from a beautiful village. Algar was very nice, but stacked. The water was quite oily of all the sunscreen, so to speak! The problem with the trip was no matter the travel time. If you are travelling from Albir you can expect to spend 60 minutes picking up other passengers in Benidorm. At least! And after this the journey itself begins. We were on foot for almost nine hours, and over half of these were spent either on the bus or waiting on the bus. I cannot recommend the trip from Albir, but the experience is probably better from Benidorm.

Nice stops, but hours on the bus.... - Guadalest and the Algar Falls are beautiful, but expect a lot of travel time. From Albir first 2.5 hours in the bus throughout Benidorm to pick everyone up. Guide information in Spanish and English, but hard as nails. Guadalest is small, busy but beautiful. The falls are refreshing and photogenic, but crowded and water shoes are a must. Back again 2.5 hours drive. Ad says 30 minutes of travel time—that's not true until everyone's already on the bus.
