Meeting the tour guides - I have had tour guides all over the world, and I must admit the young lady who provided the guide on my day in Almaty was at the top of my list. Alina did such a good job. I was amazed. She had two young ladies in training who also were amazing. Aisulu and Brota initially approached me to practice their English. But then they helped me with a Chat translation and so much more. We interacted often thoughout the day and it was a wonderful feeling. All three ladies made me feel very secure as a stranger in a strange land. Thank you!

Great way to see Almaty in a day - This tour was a great way to see Almaty in a day. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The sites are a bit underwhelming though, but the tour itself was very well organized.

PATHETIC Tour Operator - DEAF and DUMB Tour Operator - We booked the tour at night for the next day morning but The tour operator did not connect with us at all. The tour operator did not show up at the pick up location. He did not even bothered to connect us, call us or reply us on app or reply to the Viator executives also. He left us and took our money and on top of that the app executives denied our refund citing that the tour operator has rejected the refund. How the culprit is allowed to pass judgement on his own wrongdoings. It’s extremely pathetic to waste our day in the hope of this tour. Better to opt for any other good tour operator.

Joinme Asia Almaty negative experience - We did the city tour in Almaty, Kazakhstan with Rollan. First, the minibus/van was very uncomfortable and small, it accommodates 19 people and very tight- my legs were pressed against the seat in front of me. The bus was cold while we were waiting for other tourists in the morning at -4C.
The tour guide didn't speak good English, he never provided us with any information about beautiful buildings and monuments on the way. Instead, he was chatting with the driver or was checking his mobile phone. Some information he provided, was inaccurate, as compared with the information on the Internet.
I don't recommend this tour- instead hire a taxi and see th city for yourself.
I asked our tour guide to connect me with the company management to file a complaint, and he never did. Instead I had to call using my international phone plan. Finally, I spoke with Indira from the travel company, and she requested that I provide the recorded or photo evidence of the uncomfortable bus and the unprofessional tour guide. I told her that I couldn't record anybody due to privacy laws and privacy issues .
This company and the tour are not recommended, they are not professional and don't provide good service.
