• Shymbulak - It is recommended to stop by the Medeu skating rink on the way to the Shymbulak Mountain ski resort via cable car. This outdoor speed skating and bandy rink is situated in a mountain valley at an elevation of 1691 meters above sea level, making it the world’s largest high-altitude skating rink. The journey continues by cable car to Shymbulak, the largest ski resort in Central Asia.
• Kok-Tobe Hill - Kok-Tobe offers a stunning view of Almaty from 1130 meters above sea level. The park features playgrounds with slides and swings, a fountain of desires for making wishes, a mini zoo, and a statue of The Beatles. Following the visit to Kok-Tobe, there will be a stop at a Kazakh national restaurant to enjoy traditional cuisine.
• Park Named After Panfilov’s 28 Guardsmen - This park is a tribute to Panfilov’s heroes who sacrificed their lives defending Moscow from the German invasion during World War II. It includes the Memorial of Glory, dedicated to the soldiers, and the Monument of Soldiers from 15 Soviet Union countries.
• Ascension Cathedral - This is a historical and cultural monument in Almaty city. The church is a unique architectural structure, built between 1903 and 1907 entirely of wood without the use of nails.
