- Bus was clean and comfortable. Ewan or driver was lovely and funny, but left time to just chill on the bus. Bit more time on Holy Isle would have been nice but tides wait for no one.

Ewan - The Ultimate Tour Guide - Ewan was an amazing guide for the 'From Edinburgh: Holy Island, Alnwick Castle' tour. He was insightful and incredibly personable. A very engaging guide who gave us plenty of laughs along the way. Couldn't ask for more and couldn't recommend enough!

Great history day out - Great day trip. Holy Island is amazing. Would love to have had more time there but couldn't because of the tides. Neil our tour guide and driver was great. Friendly and Informative.

Great tour! - Great tour. Ash had lots of funny stories and commentary but not enough to make you feel overwhelmed with info. Alnwick castle would be amazing for families too, even though our kids are older. I wish we had a little more time at holy island, otherwise it was an amazing day.

- Our driver / guide Connor was just brilliant. I was on the tour today, 22nd July and he made the day fun, informative and enjoyable. 😇. Lots of jokes, lots on banter and a great knowledge of history. Very careful driving which is key obviously, but Timberbush Tours, please sort out your air conditioning. I have read a few reviews now of different travellers who have been in sweltering vehicles. It’s really not fair on us tourists or your guides ~ please invest. Anyway this is my second Timberbush tour and we all had a ( hot ) fabulous time, thanks to Connor, and Holy Island being so beautiful. Last one was with Mary, thats a different review…….. The castle is steeped in history, make sure you pay to visit the castle and the Poison plant gardens, well worth it!!!!!! There a great a antique shop called The Beehive in the centre, literally 7 mins away from the castle, lots of lovely items there and not oricey. Recommended 👍🏻

Disappointed - The company canceled last minute. Still awaiting my refund. It was disappointing but there were not enough people signed up so I understood.
