• Arouca Geopark - Following the introduction of the participants, an initial brief Jeep Tour will be conducted to Aldeia da Paradinha, recognized as a Village of Portugal. The tour will include stops at some of the most iconic geosites in the Paiva valley, such as the “Garganta do Paiva” and the Cabanas ichnofossils. Additionally, there will be a stop to view a beehive, which is a protective wall constructed in ancient times to safeguard hives from brown bear attacks. After exploring the village and receiving a safety briefing, the activity of descending the Paiva River will commence. This journey spans approximately 3 kilometers, from Aldeia da Paradinha (Aldeia de Portugal) to Praia Fluvial do Areínho. It offers an experience akin to rafting, navigating through the rapids of the Paiva River while ensuring safety. Participants can enjoy various water activities, including free swimming, jumping into the water, and navigating small currents.
