Begin your self-guided tour at the iconic Luís I Bridge. Follow a circular path that leads you past 13 of the Douro Valley’s most celebrated wine lodges. Our curated booklet will guide you on an engaging journey that lasts about 2.5 hours and spans approximately 6.5 km (4 miles). Use the easy-to-follow map to navigate your way. Near the end of the tour, you’ll be led to one of the best viewpoints—a hidden treasure.

As you stroll, discover the most iconic Port wine houses. Many of these lodges are regarded as the “mother houses” of Port wine and are integral to the region’s identity.
