Wonderful Experience and Wonderful staff!! - My Family and I went to Drive Dads car last weekend and we all really enjoyed ourselves! Three of us drove the cars and we all picked 3 cars to drive and they were all brilliant! Can especially recommend the austen healey 3000 it was a pleasure to drive and as someone who isn’t even really a petrol head, i may have even been converted driving this! The staff are also really friendly and informative, I had the pleasure of being taken out in the cars by Darren and he was really sound! we had a good laugh and he made the experience even better. If you’re thinking about booking a trip here I’d say it’s definitely worth it! Cant wait to come back!

Austin A30 experience - brilliant in such a cute little car - We've just returned from a trip to the Peak District where my husband had bought me a driving experience at Drive Dad's Car which was fantastic. I drove an Austin A30 as I've always loved this little cute car and it was such a fun experience. I was met by my instructor Paul who was just brilliant and very patient with me getting used to the choke and gear change in this very old car. The whole set up at Drive Dad's Car is fantastic, very well organised and together with the attached museum and cafe, we had a great time. If you reminisce about driving a car that you remember from your childhood or would just like the experience then Drive Dads Car is the perfect place to go, I would definitely recommend it.

Driving Dad's Car and museum tour - Another wonderful experience at the Great British Car Journey. Tony was a really great instructor and was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the cars I drove. This was my second experience of driving Dad's car and I will be back for a third...just got to decide on the next three cars I want to drive! Then a mooch around the museum to see the extensive and wonderful collection of British cars. Highly recommended experience to anyone that likes some nostalgic motoring

Brilliantly nostalgic, classic motoring heaven - What a brilliant, nostalgic experience, perfect for anyone who loves and appreciates motoring heritage and has fond memories of old classic cars! It was a privilege to drive these cars, especially the historic pre-war examples, all have their own soul, and the stories and secrets they must hold, from previous owners, family days out, conversations...loved it. The team made the day special. Our instructor, Gwayne, was knowledgeable and friendly, Helene checked us in and was so helpful, and Becki on the booking team was brilliant, she assisted from booking to the day itself, answered my inane questions and sorted the booking details out, and nothing was too much trouble. THANK YOU ALL for a memorable day we will not forget. James and "The Bean"!

3 car driving experience - My wife & I had a lovely time looking around the collection followed by something nice to eat. We then had the pleasure of driving 3 different cars & had a nice member of staff with us who chatted about his driving experiences as we did the circuit several times in each car. We would happily recommend the driving experience to anyone but just be prepared for a short driving route around the industrial estate several times to give you the amount of time allocated to each car driving experience. That really was the only downside to it but it didn’t ruin the experience of the cars.

Absolutely Fantastic - This is a fantastic museum with so many wonderful cars on display, and an audio tour for both adults and children to make it even more interesting. The drive dad's car experience is phenominal, with such knowledgable and enthusiastic instructors. Again, it is great that even children can get involved and drive a classic mini, or have a go in a mini landrover if they are not quite old enough for the Junior Drive. The Delorean experience looks good fun too, but we ran out of time for that!

A great experience and a day out - I got given a voucher to drive a car so I chose the Hillman Imp as it was a car my parents used to have. It was great fun to drive, the smell of it all and how hard it was to drive these cars. The route isn’t the most exciting but it’s certainly enough to get a good feel for the car. It brought back many childhood memories.
