If you like classic British everyday cars. This is the place to be. - A gem of a place to visit. The car park is a decent size. I'm not sure if it gets really busy. Entry price ok and worth it for what you get .Loads of cars to look at and reminisce about. Also ,some raritys. The Restaurant is very clean and good food and well presented. Good clean toilets as well. With the price of entry, you get an audio ,visual tablet to take round with you ,which is fun and informative.

An excellent day out. - In addition to visiting this excellent museum, I also drove an Austin Healey. MG Midget and a Rover SD1 for approx 15 minutes for each car around the museums tarmac road with an informative instructor. Fully recommend. It was my first time actually driving a sports car in 65 of driving!

Using a gift voucher - My visit was to use a gift voucher which allowed me to drive three cars. I chose the Daimler V8, Triumph Stag and Rover 110. Each had their own appeal, and the voucher also let me explore the interesting museum. The friendly and helpful staff enhance the enjoyment of my day.

Good value for money! - Actually drove the same model as the first car my father owned, and another the same as first car I ever drove as a teenager. Enjoyable experience, even though you only get up to a maximum of 30mph for a few yards, it gives you a taste or a reminder of what those vehicles were like. Obviously you can hire vintage vehicles elsewhere to take out on the road, but that's going to cost a great deal more. The vehicles are in good order, but be prepared for heavy steering, and vague gear linkages without the spring bias we expect today. We don't realise how pampered we are in modern vehicles. The cars of the 60s and 70s didn't seem to need that much effort to drive at the time!

Great experience - The TR6 I was to drive had a mechanical problem so instead I drove a Jaguar XJS. Wonderful experience from the moment I turned the key and it became “alive”. The manual gear box was very smooth. Without power assisted steering but, even at low speed, it didn’t feel heavy. I have a great photo of me standing by the open door of this excellent car. The museum is full of memorable cars and i will be repeating the experience again before too long.

Lovely birthday treat for car lovers of all ages - My daughter chose this Drive-it experience for me for my birthday. We all love classic cars and she got to be a passenger with me as I drove a Morris Minor Convertible. A fab little car. The instructor was so patient. We had a great day and the museum is awesome.

Fabulous Afternoon Out - Had a grand old time at Drive Dad's Car that was bought for me as a Birthday Gift. Visited on a Wednesday afternoon for a nostalgic drive in their Austin A30. The accompanying instructor was knowledgeable and friendly. The drive was for approximately 20 mins on their closed road circuit. The gift included a commemorative photo, which was ready post drive, digital copies sent to me via email to share with family and friends and also free entry to The Great British Car Journey. I do thoroughly recommend this attraction for anyone who wants to turn the clock back to yesteryear for a brief while.

Great day out. Will be going again to try more cars! - What a fantastic experience. Great to be able to drive the cars instead of just looking at them in a museum (although the museum is a really good experience too). I'd highly recommend this as a gift for someone who loves their classic cars.
