Ayder & Huser Tour - Hasan is the best person to have around you for the Ayder Plateau region. Having grown up in Ayder, he knows the area like the back of his hand, and you can tell he really loves to share its beauty with those who visit. I wholeheartedly recommend working with Hasan for any tour you’re considering taking in the region.

Off the beat and track in the Kackar Mountains - The mountain hikes that we enjoyed were some of the most beautiful that we have done. They were completely off the beat and track and impossible to do without a guide. We were blessed to have been looked after by Hasan who spoke great English, was very informative and lots of fun. He navigated our route expertly and we eat and drank and enjoyed the hospitality of wonderful , warm people in the mountain villages. A truly spectacular trip, thank you, Hassan. Truly magical.

Extremely happy - The road to both Pokut and Husar was unimaginably dangerous and scary. However, the driver is expert, the vehicle is well equipped/prepared and they work as a team. In the end, it is totally worth it. I still can not process the CRAZY scene I saw with my own eyes, with the clouds beneath me like a sea. I took the best photos of my life with my wife. It was a once in lifetime experience, and I definitely recommend it to everyone who likes adventure and nature. You will definitely enjoy it. Though I had a rental car, I still had to take this trip becauss without a tour guide, it is impossible to make it there, making the price totally reasonable.

Poor management and state of the van, but the drivers were excellent and the place beautiful - First of all the van hadn’t been cleaned, the seats were dirty, there was a garbage bag hanging from the handrail from the previous group (which must have been from the day before), the windows were dirty. Two out the five seats we had were broken, stuck in the furthest back reclining position, meaning that we spent about four hours of harrowing hairpin turns on the roads unable to sit up and annoying the people behind us whose space we were intruding. Contrary to what the itinerary said, we were only given 30 mins in the first place, 40 in the second and 5 in the third. Most of that time was spent queuing for toilets. Back in Ayder, we were moved to another bus which was much better and the trip to the last stop Huser was comfortable with reasonable time at the top. There was no tour guide. The whole day the van played very loud music, which might be important for the driver’s alertness, but if you are looking for peace and quiet in the mountains, the very loud music doesn’t allow that. The experience at Huser and the beauty of the places (which the tour has no credit for!) is the only reason I am giving a rating of poor and not terrible. I also want to appreciate the drivers who were most skilful and navigated the difficult roads admirably.
