An amazing day at the Dead Sea! - Our driver Zeyad Alkonj was such a pleasant man. He messaged me the night before to confirm our pick up time. He picked us up at our hotel as planned and gave us a cold bottle of water to drink. Along the way he pointed out several important buildings including our embassy. Along the way, I had several questions about our surroundings. He happily shared his knowledge of the area, stopped at a site that I was interested in seeing and took our picture in front of the Dead Sea sign. Once we arrived at the resort, he walked us to the beach area and showed us where to have lunch. The resort was beautiful and very large. Had he not walked us through, we may have gotten lost and lost time. He was very kind and accommodating. He told us to take our time and to let us know when we were finished. He offered to take us to a Dead Sea salt business but we were too relaxed and tired from our travels. While at the Dead Sea, there was a worker who cut some salt from the sea and made a mixture of salt and water. First he helped us get mud for a mud bath and helped us apply it. He took pictures for us because we couldn't. He timed the process and let us know when it was time to wash off. After the mud bath, he scrubbed us down with the Sea Salt mixture and it was like the Heaven! The massage was so relaxing!! Afterwards he helped hose us and we were in a state of bliss! He even bottled up some mud & salt for us to take home! After that experience, we relaxed in one of the many beautiful pools and then headed to lunch. We had anticipated a buffet style lunch but it wasn't available because it was the slow season. We had an option of fish or chicken for lunch instead. Overall it was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to all of my family & friends! Everyone needs to experience this very unique tour!

A Beautiful Relaxing Day! - This trip & our driver Mohammed Ali were great! He picked us up timely at our hotel & he had juices & water for us in the car for our 1 hour journey to a beautiful resort on the Dead Sea. We had to pay extra for the day use of the resort facilities which included a hearty nice lunch on site. We enjoyed several pools, nice restrooms, friendly hospitality, beach towels& cool float in the Dead Sea w/ mud bath if desired. Mohammed allowed us to stay as long as we liked. On the drive back we stopped at a Dead Sea factory/store for a presentation & opportunity to buy DS products . Lastly “Mo” treated us to an ice cream treat & pointed out significant landmarks on the way to the hotel in Amman. It was a much needed relaxing day. Thank you Mohammed!
