• Siq - Begin by walking through the famous “Siq,” a narrow 1.2-kilometer path; a rock fissure that served as the main entrance to the city, and be captivated by your first view of the hauntingly beautiful Treasury “El - Khazneh.”
• Al-Khazneh - As the canyon suddenly opens up, admire this rose-pink masterpiece, originally constructed to house invaluable treasures, and capture it on camera. Then, continue through the widening canyon to see other monuments such as the 3,000-seater Theater, the Royal Tombs, and the Byzantine Church. As you explore, listen to your guide explain how the Nabateans sculpted the buildings and learn how they adapted to the harsh desert conditions to thrive here. After approximately two hours of exploration, enjoy some free time. If time allows, you can climb up to the Monastery on your own or visit the High Place of Sacrifice: a clifftop altar once used for animal sacrifices and other ceremonies.
