Don’t miss this tour, Mr. Basel was the best! - I’m an adventurer at heart and when I saw this gem of a tour I had to jump on it and book it right away. I was picked up on time by Mr. Basel who was not only a superior driver but also a great company to be with in this tour. I never felt rushed, he made sure I was taken care of and he even took pictures of me when we cross a sign for the Dead Sea. We reached our destination, Wadi Muji Siq trail and he helped me go through the process of going in and registering and off I am to see this wonderful area. You need water shoes/sneakers for this. When u first walk to the ramp , I was not expecting what I would see when I make the turn. But there it was, running water amidst both sides of rock formation with plants growing form the ground. It reminded me of those scenes in a movie and it was just amazing. I took much pictures! I had to select the best and I’ll let them speak for themselves. You need some form of physical endurance for this activity as you will be climbing in a rocky and wet terrain. It involves some pulling you self in a ladder with water coming down and maneuvering through rocks and wast deep or chest deep waters as you go further along so wear your life vest. Your reward a waterfalls that is nestled in the middle of somewhat gorge/canyon looking formation. It was magnificent! I loved every single bit of it. After i was finish, i came back and dried myself with my own towel so do bring one, and off we go to the Dead Sea Resort. At first I didn’t get the buzz of what it is but when I started to put the mud and experience me its benefits, soak on the Dead Sea and let it marinate me, I was hooked. My skin felt amazing! Rejuvenated and well it felt like there was some form of glycerin that made my skin so soft, somewhat slippery but it left my skin baby smooth!!!! I didn’t spend much time after taking pics as I wanted to mask my whole body which I only took 10 minutes max coz I felt tingling and I wash it off. Floated some more and just laid in the sun. This was a great experience especially after the hike. I felt relaxed and ready to go which Mr. Basel gave me ample time to enjoy myself and he showed up on time to pick me up. He then took me to Elmar Dead Sea Products where I got some shopping done and shipped my things back to NYC. I did some damage but am happy with it and Mr. Basel even helped me contacting them after I got back in the US just to get some updates. They were very nice and accommodating and I really like their products. We then ended our tour but I ask Me. Basel if he can show me what’s the national dish and where the locals eat and he happily took me there! Tawaheen Al Hawa! This place was massive and people are flocking this place. He tells me this is where the locals eat and when they wove this place, you know you’re in it for a good time and you’ll be going out full! I got the Mansaf and it came with other pre main dish sides. The amount of food…it was a spread! Delicious! I tried every single one of them not thinking I’m getting this amazing dish still. Mansaf came and it was prepared and deboned table side. The staff was more than friendly and made sure we were taken care. I felt like I was welcomed in a family place. This was special and I’m happy to have shared this experience with Mr. Basel. So if you’re up for some adventure, book this tour and ask for Mr. Basel! He is the best and I felt safe and like I was part of his family. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Canyon trail to do! - Superb canyon still "more or less" preserved: waterfalls, pebble beaches, a small current allows you to be carried from the furthest point towards the beginning. Course with ropes, vests, everything is secure and the course can be done in 1.5/2 hours round trip without great difficulty. Superb site.

Nice day in nature - The hike of Wadi Mujib was great with some amazing views. I would definitely add on the Dead Sea visit if you have never been. It was a nice conclusion to a long hike. Ramouni was a great driver as well

Something fun outdoors .. other than ruins - If you like outdoor activities, hiking, swimming, and waterfalls, then this is for you. The hike is 5km (3.1 miles) round trip. You begin at the mouth of the Majib river and hike through it through the river cut sandstone canyon and up the waterfall. After a good soaking in the cool, fresh water, you hike back out the way you came. Sandals, water shoes, or closed toed shoes you don't mind getting wet are recommended. Bathing suit is highly recommended as you will get wet - head to toe. Upon our return to the visitor's center, we headed to the Dead Sea to bathe in the mineral waters. It does sting a little when you first get in... 1 out of 10 on a pain scale. After a bit, hop out, and cover yourself in the mineral mud for 10 minutes or more. Your skin will feel baby soft afterwards. After our mineral soak, we had lunch. They had practically everything. Water is included. Any other drinks, including soda, are extra. After lunch we went back to the hotel. Mahmoud, our driver, was most excellent and took care of us the whole way. We were for want of nothing. If you want food and restaurant recommendations for later in your visit to Amman, he is a wealth of information.

The best tour provider and best tour guide in Jordan - I would highly recommend this tour. Our guide was Sami. We have travelled all over the world but he is the best tour guide we have had. He showed us the beauty of Jordan and really took his time to get to know us as a couple. He took us to sites that were not on the itinerary and we ended the evening with the best Kunafe we have tasted. Thank you Sami and Zaid Tours!

Unmissable - Absolutely worth doing during a trip to Jordan, very fun, done in August, we arrived around 11.30am and waited barely half an hour to enter, they sell absolutely essential rock shoes at the entrance and provide life jackets, even though when we were there the water was not particularly high; it's not really a walk and my wife and I stopped at the last waterfall just before the end, but for fear of trauma during the descent, while the children reached the end; swimsuit or shorts and t-shirt because you get completely wet, and any cell phones in waterproof bags, but not to be held in your hand because you need both arms

Great fun but also tiring - Super fun and must try experience. A life jacket and waterproof bag are provided, and if you don't have them you can buy rock shoes there. Recommended if you are fit enough because it is still quite tiring. You also have to be careful not to slip but along the route there are near the most difficult points that help you. On the way back you let yourself be carried by the current

an experience not to be missed - the hike up was a bit of a challenge. not as hard as i feared. as a fat, 67 year old woman i did fine. i needed help on one waterfall but there were guides placed along the trail to assist. just a beautiful hike! now, at the turn around point, i was forced to slide down a rock into the pool below. i wanted to climb down the way i came up. i was not allowed. that pool just did not seem deep enough. the guide insisted so i did. i assumed he would not be telling me to do this if it were not safe. i ended up with two broken bones in my foot and a spiral fracture on my fibula. yes, i had to hike out that way. i did float where i could. i still had 4 waterfalls to climb down. a guide dragged me over rocks in some spots too shallow to float. and then i walked quite a bit as well. and oh that ladder to get out of the gorge! i am not sorry i went. i am sharing this so if you are not comfortable doing as directed, don't. know your limits.

Don’t waste your money. Go on your own. - If I could give 0 I would. My flight was cancelled, and I didn’t know until 8 hours before the tour. Instead of being understanding and refunding me, they decided to tell me it was my fault that I was a no-show at the pickup, give me no refund, and also had the nerve to tell me they’d let me change the date but would charge me $50 more.
