Participants will be introduced to each other and briefed on safety protocols, the conditions to expect, proper and safe kayaking techniques, the approximately 11 nautical mile route, and the planned stops. Afterward, belongings are secured in dry bags, life jackets are donned, and the group sets off together. The journey starts at the mouth of the Acheron River, paddling approximately 2 nautical miles while enjoying the refreshing water, the shade of the trees, and the birds’ songs. The route continues along the coastline, where participants will explore caves and beaches with crystal-clear waters, offering opportunities to rest and swim before heading back to the Acheron River. Travelers are encouraged to contact us prior to booking to confirm the trip’s date and time, as these depend on weather conditions and availability.

Travellers should contact me before booking for the date and time of the trip (depends on weather condition&availability) , they will find me on Ammoudia village at the boat ramp of Acheron river. At the point there will be a black beach flag "e-kayaking tours" with orange letters.

The first time kayaking - Unique experience, in the silence of the nature of the river Acheron and then along the coast with caves and coves. Definitely to be repeated!

Amazing experience - Absolutely amazing me and my wife loved it. We was picked up from our hotel by our amazing guide Vasilis, we started on the river getting used to the manoeuvres then set off up stream for about half an hour spotting turtles and beavers. It was so very peaceful. Vasilis was talking about the history of the river and the surrounding areas. We then turned round and went down stream was a little easier as we was with the current we did several miles until we got to the sea and the caves. He took us to every cave he could telling stories of the individual caves. Kayaking on the sea was more difficult but definitely worth it. We covered so much of the mountain side and eventually got to a very secluded beach with just a few locals and a bar. Where we had a well earned break.
Highly recommend doing this me and my wife loved every second of it

Great experience of the local beauty of Parga - We did the kayaking tour with our daughter of 15, due to inexperience Vasilis recommended to take the double kayaks which was a good choice for us, we started on the river which is breathtaking, although we were unlucky as we did not spot the beavers we saw a lot of turtles and other nature beauty, Vasilis explains a lot and knows what he is talking about! After the river comes the sea which is a bit tougher when it is a little bit windy but for sure doable even when inexperienced with kayaking. Vasilis explains a lot about the spots you will visit and makes it a great adventure, we would definitely recommend this trip!

Superb Kayak experience - This is a brilliant kayak experience. Vasilis is a friendly, helpful and very knowledgable guide and pointed out lots of wildlife on the river and took us into some dramatic sea caves. The Acheron river is beautiful, calm and quiet and we were lucky enough to see turtles and a swimming beaver. You can kayak as far or as little as you want on the sea, depending on the conditions - when we had put in a decent stint, Vasilis dropped us off at a beach and went to pick up his car and trailer while we had a cold beer! He then took us to Aloniki - a gorgeous beach that we returned to the next day by ourselves and also told us about the Acheron River springs, which we also drove to ourselves - both not to be missed and we wouldn’t have known about either of them without Vasilis. Highly recommended

Great experience in the river Acheron to the sea + caves + beaches 10/10 would recommend - Did the route with my brother in law who came from Australia. The route was spectacular going from the river Acheron to the sea and into some coastal caves and to some beautiful beaches. Seeing beaver families and river turtles was a nice surprise. Vasileios was a brilliant guide and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend 10/10

A magical day! - This trip was the highlight of our trip to Parga! We did the trip as a couple and have never have done an experience like this. It was a fun (and very different) way to see some of Pargas most beautiful places like the Archeon River and many small caves and beaches. Vasilis was an incredible guide, we couldn’t ask for anything more. He was super friendly and very quickly taught us how to paddle in the Kayaks. His knowledge of Parga, Greece and its history made the trip all that more interesting - I would definitely recommend you doing this!

Best day! - Wow, what a day. I can not recommend this enough. From the beautiful Acheron river with its wildlife and peace to the coastline and caves an unmissable and unique experience.
The guide is amazing, knowledgeable and extremely friendly, he made the day for my family really special.
If you can only do one thing in your time in this area do this. You won’t regret it.

A perfect holiday activity - The trip was amazing, with both the quiet river and the fun coastline with caves and swimming at a secluded beach! Everything was adjusted to our wants and fitness level. A great experience, would highly recommend!
