Take the free ferry F3 Buiksloterweg behind the Central Station. From the ferry you walk immediately to the left towards the A'dam Tower (with the swing on the roof). After 250 meters you will see on the right after the bridge the departure jetty of Amsterdam Boat Cruises. Look for the white flags.

A different perspective - We had done a walking tour and decided to take a relaxing cruise around Amsterdam and give ourselves a different view. Captain Marco provided an excellent commentary being very knowledgeable on both the history of Amsterdam but also many of the buildings as we passed by. Some 'good' jokes interspersed with history allowed this to be both an interesting and entertaining 75 minute cruise which was not spoilt by the rain outside.

A great way to see the city - We had a great time on this canal cruise. The departure point was very easy to find and the boarding process was easy. The skipper was very knowledgeable about the city and showed impressive maneuvering skills amongst the busy canals!

Canal tour 75 min with cover ship - Directions to the start of tour very easy to understand. Captain Markoff and Sil first mate. Very good at history/ dad jokes. Tour group had fun- even with the rain on the outside of ship. Highly recommend this trip.

Great, relaxed and informative river/canal cruise - Great way to orientate your way around Amsterdam. Great, quiet location to board and lovely clean ship with glass opening roof for all elements. Captain was very informative (with comedic elements!) but also gave an opportunity to just enjoy the lovely atmosphere. Very smooth ride with options for drinks on board that were priced very reasonably. Would definitely make this a priority on your visit to Amsterdam.

Pleasant cruise , but not much details about the history of Amsterdam and its canals. - It was a good canal cruise with pleasant staff and smooth cruise with excellent views of Amsterdam. Disappointed with the commentary as very brief and expected more about the history of Amsterdam.

To flee as much as possible - the meeting place of the boat very poorly indicated. the comments almost non-existent, very little provided and places difficult to locate according to the position of the boat. nothing is learned because uninteresting comments. no history of the city. Avoid as much as possible
