A great way to spend an hour in Amsterdam! - Fun and affordable little cruise tour! Informative and enjoyable! Getting into the boat was a little challenging, as I have some mobility issues.

Nice boat tour - We booked a 6pm boat ride. The pros: the location to take the tour was very close to our hotel and next to Anne Frank House. The duration of the tour was perfect to see great landmarks. I liked the no drinks option so we don’t have to overpay for what we don’t consume. Cons: when I boarded the boat I was disappointed that it was all enclosed. It was such a beautiful day and I would have preferred a fully opened boat. We asked if the roof could be opened and luckily half of the roof could be opened. Otherwise I was going to to leave the boat and look for an open boat. There’s also a section in the back where 4 people could seat and it’s in the open. Overall it was a very good experience. For a rainy or very cold day or you have sun sensitivity this is the boat you need. Also if you have little kids so you don’t have to worry. But for a beautiful sunny day, I would recommend an open boat for better visibility and experience.

Would have liked more commentary - The tour was good but it would have been nice to have had more commentary especially regarding the history if the city and more information on the specific buildings as pointed out en route. Also, having booked through trip advisor our booking did not appear on the paperwork of the tour operator. I would recommend possibly trying one of the other tours.

Affordable cruise but unfortunately little information during the cruise - Booking.com booked cruise, friendly captain and staff, neat boat, drink at entrance (beer, wine or water). Audio in English and German. Was asked if we wanted Dutch but for us no problem if it was only DE and ENG. Start of cruise plenty of info but so halfway suddenly nothing. Captain pointed us to a passage so you could see the bridges (Nine streets?) So that was really a setback, we think there is plenty to tell when you sail through Herengracht, for example, even if it is just anecdotes. We have seen enough from the water but without information about it and that is a real shame (maybe audio equipment broke and Captain t didn't notice?)

I would recommend an open... - I would recommend an open air boat for better viewing. This was a good boatride, but the operator didn’t talk a lot. I feel it was a average tour, enjoyable. But could be a little better.

just a boat ride - during the canal ride, the guide barely talked about the buildings or the history of the places. sometimes his voice wasn't loud enough. other boats had earpieces.

Misleading and underwhelming - Completely misleading with the booking. The booking says "departing from Anne Frank's house" but it actually departs from in front of centraal station. Our 6 pm cruise was booked as a heated closed cruise with a toilet but instead, when we showed up before the cruise, it was a open boat with nothing stated above. The person checking us in said he can move us to the 7 pm cruise free if charge, which we accepted. Cruise itself was nothing extraordinary. Just some pre recorded guide that we could barely hear. The only reason for 2 stars is cause they gave us a free drink.

You get what you pay for.... - The boats are covered. The recorded audio tour in 5 languages is vague and just rambles on. There is no interaction with the staff.
