Worth every penny - Tour guide/captain was fantastic. Full of knowledge and jokes in all languages. I wish I’d asked her name because she was fantastic. Extended the tour from 60 to 90 mins. I would do this again in a heartbeat

Would give more stars if we could! - Great trip! Easy to book and fab to see and learn a bit about the history of the city from the water. ENORMOUS shout out to the skipper, who let us off early so we could make our night train when we got stuck behind some boats with very "festive" drivers due to the SAIL 2025 event. Audio guide in combination with the sights kept our 5 year old entertained the whole trip too.

Amsterdam canal cruise - A perfect way to start your trip in Amsterdam. The ideal location to pick up , infront of the Station Centraal. Lovers have various pick mooring jetties so you'll have to ask someone when you get there where yours is . There are many canal cruises available by different companies so take your pick! This one was an hour travelling up and down the streets whilst listening to a very informative narrative , no drinks or food included . A round trip arriving back where we started . No complaints, would recommend highly .

Great Canal Cruise! - The Lovers Canal Cruise is a fantastic experience at a reasonable price! The boats are large, but not overwhelming, and there are plenty of seats for good views. Everyone plugs in and wears earbuds that have a very informational tour recorded in many languages. The tour is quite thorough, and introduces the visitor to the unique locations of Amsterdam, along with a great history summary. Highly recommended!

Superb - Great boat ride! The prices are really affordable and the sales staff is very friendly. They even make the effort to understand us French by using a translator – a real plus! The audio path with the headphones is really well designed: you learn a lot while enjoying the scenery. The organization is at the top, the schedules are perfectly respected. Frankly, a great experience. We will definitely come back to test the other activities during our next visit to Amsterdam!

Must do in Amsterdam - Wanted to book a canal cruise for our time in Amsterdam and when doing research, these are the ones which come up several times. We booked online the day of and there seemed to be a lot of availability. If you're in a pair, the boats (at least the one we got on) are in configured in a 3x3 formation with a table. Myself and my partner arrived quite last minute so the window seats were taken so I would suggest arriving early! This did not particularly affect our experience however as there is a glass/transparent ceiling on the boat. I would also recommend that if you are getting on the boat at Prins Hendrikkade to use the full address as Apple maps can take you out by about 15 minutes if going by foot. Unfortunately I missed the name of our captain however, they were extremely funny and provided lots of knowledge when going around the canals and we felt extremely safe. Would highly recommend booking with Lovers!

Nothing Special - Had more expectations for the Cruise but this nothing to do with the boat, the Company or with the Captain. Cruise is a bit boring and if we knew we could pay a bit more and join smaller boats with maximum 20 people that they can offer also drinks or even to arrange a cruise only for the family. Is also better to arrange cruise night hours.

Don't use this one, find a nice boat just walking along one of the canals. - Totally cr@p. The audio commentary didn't work. It was cramped and packed. People talking loudly and others listening to videos/music on their phones. No engagement from the 'captain'. Total waste of €17 each (family of 4) and an hour of our time. We still on the damn thing...is it over yet?!?!?

Save your money - Worst Experience Ever! A complete waste of money! We booked a 6:00 PM one-hour canal cruise expecting a timely and scenic experience. We arrived at 5:45 PM and waited patiently in line, only for the boat to remain docked well past the scheduled departure time. By 6:30 PM, the boat had still not moved, with no explanation, no communication, and no sense of urgency from staff. We had other plans that evening, and this delay completely derailed our schedule. After wasting 45 minutes standing around with no update, we had no choice but to leave without ever setting foot on the cruise. This kind of disorganization and lack of respect for customers’ time is unacceptable. Amsterdam has many canal tour options — do yourself a favor and choose a company that actually values punctuality and customer service.
