Highly recommend! - Our guide was funny, charming, and very informative as we cruised through Amsterdam’s canals. It was a cozy and relaxing way to learn fascinating facts about the city while enjoying the view. Yes, the drinks are truly unlimited — no judgment there! A small note: while the photos on Viator show grapes and breadsticks, those weren’t part of the actual experience on our cruise. It’s not a problem, but I’d suggest picking up a bit of bread or crackers beforehand to enjoy with the cheese that is provided. Weather isn’t an issue either — the boat can be enclosed to keep out the chill (as it was the day we went), and there are plenty of blankets available to stay warm and comfortable. All in all, a wonderful experience — cozy, entertaining, and well worth it!

Definitely Worth It - Wonderful time. You may sit with other people especially if you're only two people, but it's nice to meet new people. The staff is great and was ready to refill drinks and cheese.

Fun time on the canals - We thoroughly enjoyed our canal cruise. Our host guide was so humorous and informative! The wine and cheese definitely enhanced the experience as we took in the sites of Amsterdam.

Don't go if you go for the wine and cheese or are Dutch. - As a Dutchman, I would not go on this cruise, especially as an Amsterdammer. I just thought I'd have a nice time with friends tasting some wine with candles but it's just cheap bottles of wine, cans of Heineken and a small plate with cubes of Gouda cheese. Moreover, the tour guide is the one who has to provide the entire boat with drinks and snacks that were not even properly prepared, while shouting facts about Amsterdam all over the boat. Nice for tourists.

Ok canal tour - Captain was experienced, and we had a safe ride. Guide was part stand up comic, part bartender and part guide. I could have done with less comic show and would have liked more history . The wine and cheese didn’t meet my expectations. We were served a platter of cubed Gouda and choice of 3 wines, beer or soda. My expectation was it was a tasting of assorted cheeses. Even though, It all tasted fine.

Do you hate New Yorkers? - When we boarded the boat it was still a little messy from the group that just disembarked. The offering said two cheeses we only got one. Even though we each made our own booking we were also forced to share cheeseboards. They seemed very unorganized and not prepared for the next group to board. Juliet was scrambling to get bottles and drinks. There were two groups who ordered the bubbly and Juliet openly admitted she didn’t want to go looking for the bottles and asked if it was okay if they didn’t receive what they paid for. Once we got moving she had us all say where we were from and she clearly wasn’t happy we were from New York. As she gave random facts about the city she couldn’t keep up with refills for not only the back but also the front of the boat. When asked for a refill she seemed bothered by it and made me feel like I inconvenienced her. Also when multiple parties asked about the lights for the canal cruises she said they avoid them for traffic and when asked how to get that experience she ignored answering those questions. From her poorly delivered jokes and empty threats of running us over in the bike lane this experience left a lot to be desired. Overall I’d never book this again if I know She’s the guide. Doing this at night was also boring.

Not that great - We struggled to find where the boat sailed. The cheese was plentiful but the wine wasn't served very fast and only got 2 plastic glasses of it. Tour was in dark but very limited information provided. Wouldn't bother again
