- It was a very interesting Tour where we learned a lot about Amsterdam. Our Guide was very nice and funny. We also got lots of recommendations for restaurants and local sights as well as a postcard and free stroopwaffles. We would definitely recommend this tour. The 2,5 hours went by in the blink of an eye. It is definitely a must-do if you visit Amsterdam.

Great introductory tour - Our guide, Surgio, was great. He was so passionate to show us around, very knowledgeable about the city history, geography and culture. I learned a lot about Amsterdam from him through this tour. His recommended places for eating also led us to tasting several great Dutch specialties like herring, kibbeling and stoopwafels. I like the trip very much though in the rain!

This tour was a great way to get to know Amsterdam. - This was a faboulous tour; lots of history and interesting stories to go with each location we were taken to. The tour took a bit more than two hours, but that was okay as there were no dull moments, and we covered a lot of ground. A walking tour is a great way to get a deeper appreciation of a city/holiday location, and this tour ticked all the boxes.

Perfect intro to the city (and perfect "jet lag day" activity, too) - David was made for this job - literally. He's born and raised in Amsterdam and then studied its art, culture and history and storytelling in school. His personality and humor were key as we were dragging along 3 kids (18, 15 & 12) who desperately wanted to just go to sleep having just arrived from Philly that morning. He gave us our bearings and provided frank explanations about Amsterdam's famous practicality and tolerance.

Great tour - The tour is great, lots of information and very friendly guide. Only negative point is that the amount paid here to reserve the tour does not go to the actual tour guide, it's all for Trip Advisor, so keep that in mind when thinking about how much you're tipping the guide at the end. In can also reserve directly with the tour guides without paying the booking fee :)

Long comments - Charming guide and seeming to master his explanations but who spoke far too fast for my basic English. Lots of talk and too few places discovered in our opinion Didn't really appreciate it.

Terrible - I would not recommend this walking tour. We saw very little of Amsterdam and certainly not the interesting sights that I expected. Instead we were given the political and cultural views of the guide. While I don't disagree with her on most matters, I wanted to see something of Amsterdam and not get a lecture. Very disappointing.
