Excellent tour & guide-highly recommend! - We were so happy that we booked this tour. We were only 2 couples and felt like we had a semi-private tour. James was an exceptional guide. So knowledgable and passionate about the history of the Jews in Amsterdam. We greatly appreciated his ability to share his knowledge and stories of such a dark period. James was easy going and happily answered all of our questions. The tour gives. you a nice overview of the Jewish quarter and you can visit some of the monuments or memorials on your own after the tour (we went back to The Dutch Resistance Museum- it was excellent). Highly recommend this tour and hopefully you will be lucky to get James as your guide. Todah Rabah. :)

Very knowledgeable tour... - Very knowledgeable tour guide. Learned so many things about Amsterdam that are obvious now that it’s been pointed out to me. If you miss the perpetually sold out Ann Frank house, this is the next best alternative.
