Entertainment and history (never forget & ignore) - We did two tours with "Amsterdamliebe".
Both the first booking via GetYourGuide and the second directly with "Amsterdamliebe" was straightforward.
First, a one-hour canal tour with "drink flat"... This one was pretty booked up. Accordingly, it was a bit cramped on the boat. Everything was there for drinks: Soft drinks, beer, even wine. Top. The tour was very entertaining, though less historical than generally informative.
Unfortunately we were not told at the end that there is a discount code for further tours...too bad. For this I would actually want to deduct 1/2 point...but...
Nevertheless, we booked the "Anne Frank Tour" with Stephanie the next day. An absolute hit!
Stephanie accompanied and guided us with empathy and great expertise. You got the feeling she was living for the subject. The two hours went way too fast...
Dear Stephanie: we keep our fingers crossed for your book and the necessary research. Your project gives face and name to unknowns, forgotten.

Stefanie #1 - Stefanie was THE BEST tour guide in the whole world !! Her passion and energy for the history had me locked in the whole time! Helped me really appreciate going into the Anne frank even more!! Loved it<3

Impressive history of Amsterdam - The tour was impressive! Our guide Deborah told us the story of Anne Frank and her family interesting and very lively, also very touching. We can highly recommend the tour and also Deborah.

Great support and planning - We stayed as a practice team (13 people ) 3 nights in Amsterdam. We were actively and professionally looked after by the team of "Amsterdamliebe". The previous email contact was always fast and friendly. In Amsterdam we had direct contact via WhatsApp :-)
In the suburb we had done a private canal tour (with Josch) as well as an Anne Frank tour (with Nina) and a bike tour in the north of Amsterdam (with Leonie). All three were young and had carried out their tours with love. Also the food was booked for us by Amsterdamliebe, everything was excellent ! We had a tight program :-) but everything went like clockwork. Amsterdamlove was always at our side with advice and deed !
Thank you very much for this dear team from Amsterdamliebe......you can see how the young team loves their city ;-)
There should be something like this in every big city!

perfect, private Anne Frank tour. 10/10 points - I had written to the company Amsterdamliebe, which I had not known until then, on Friday afternoon and had expected a reply to it at the earliest on Monday. But then I emailed back and forth over the weekend with different contact persons, which I never expected (as I was also raised decently 😃) , but all the more I was of course thrilled.
In short, how did we find the right birthday present for my wife and we were both thrilled about the extremely active and very friendly communication with Amsterdam love.
And from the tour and our female tour guide anyway. We had booked a private tour and Marie showed us around well and gave us lots of detailed information on the subject. That was perfect, so to speak. Thank you again, dear Amsterdam love ❤️ 🫶🏽
Since many readers are probably interested in the pricing, Ichhere would like to mention that the tour was absolutely worth every penny. Price/performance also great.
PS: If I have to book something in Amsterdam again, I turn to you and thank you again extraordinary 😘

Passionate and friendly tour guide - We had an amazing time with Valentina, highly recommended! She’s very passionate, friendly and good at story telling. We learned a lot from the tour, definitely a highlight of our trip in Amsterdam.

A nice walk in Amsterdam - Met group in a very easy location to find. Lovely tour guide. Noemi I think. Very informative - good fun and made the tour very relaxing. Nice stops along the route -

Ok Experience - This tour was interesting, but could have been better presented. When we arrived in the old Jewish area, we found the original buildings no longer existed. It would have been helpful to see pictures of the area before the war. The guide took us for a photo op. She did not explain where we were or give information on the buildings around us. Our guide lacked enthusiasm.

Not suitable for families - I am shocked by the “customer service”. We booked a tour as a family with two young children (3 and 5 years old). On the homepage, however, there is no way to consider children, so we assumed that the children are not relevant when buying tickets. On site, one person was too many in the group because a maximum of 15 are allowed. So the information from the office to the tour guide on site via mobile phone. So we couldn't participate as a family because one child is too many.
I thought at that moment, okay, what about the kids who were already present with their families? If we had come before them, they would have been too much or how? We couldn't leave the children alone so my husband didn't participate in the tour and stayed with the children. I went alone even though we paid for two tickets. Afterwards, I wrote to “customer service” and explained the situation. How should children be taken into account if the website does not give it away was my question and whether we would get the ticket refunded for my husband as he could not attend. Unfortunately, we did not receive any understanding of the situation, it would be our responsibility to inquire or register the children beforehand via e-mail. Like being a Martian bringing a giraffe to the tour, a total rarity? The reaction shocked me, not at all family friendly, on “getyourguide” you can also simply state the age of the children and know where you are without having to write emails back and forth. It's a shame.
