Art tour - The Amor Artium art tour at the Rijksmuseum is a fun and well-structured tour that approaches art in an accessible but not simplified way. The guide knows how to tell the historical context and personal stories convincingly, making the works really live. In tour a clear storyline was visible and coherence is created between different artworks and periods. The pace is pleasant and does not force, leaving plenty of time to look and reflect. The tour also offers new perspectives for people who are already familiar with the Rijksmuseum or art history. a high-quality art tour for those who not only want to see, but also want to understand the Rijksmuseum. Good for both interested beginners and experienced museum visitors.

110% - My two-hour tour with Ank passed in a blink of the eye. We hit it off immediately as we both realized our shared passion for art history. She is a knowledgeable art historian and researcher who seamlessly wove together architecture of the museum, the Dutch masters, the history of The Netherlands, with the stories of the Dutch people. When Ank saw a piece that had recently been returned to the exhibition hall, she was obviously pleased and couldn't hide her enthusiasm. When I saw an old favorite painting she respected my reactions to the work. She intuitively understood what I needed when I needed it. Ank is an excellent tour guide and this company proved itself above and beyond my expectations. I will not hesitate to book another tour with Amor Artium because the Love of the Arts is clear to all who tour with them.

First Class experience with brilliant art historian - Had a brilliant private tour with Florentine this morning - a hugely knowledgable art historian with impeccable English. She showed us how to really look at a piece of art and how to admire and critique what we were looking at. Thoroughly recommend this tour and the professional company that runs it.

An Educational and Inspiring Art Tour! - Together with my sister I joined the private art tour from Amor Artium at the Rijksmuseum, and it was one of my highlights of my visit to Amsterdam. The tour was led by two young art experts who spoke about art with so much passion and enthusiasm. Very inspiring! I really appreciated that the tour didn't focus only on the famous, mainstream paintings (although you do get to see those as well). We also were introduced to lesser-known artworks and objects, including very interesting, and fun facts. Their insights made me look at the art in a different way and helped my better understand the historical context of the time. Also, the pace of the tour was perfect. We never stood too long in front of an artwork, but it also never felt rushed. There was room to ask questions and to engage in a conversation. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a deeper, more engaging museum experience that feels lively, accessible, and anything but dry.

M.I.A Tour guide - The Rijksmuseum deserved a 5 star rating for experience, and I recommend if you have a fair appreciation for Dutch art, then allow multiple hours for this experience. The reason for the 1 star rating is related to my booking experience. I purchased a private tour of the Rijksmuseum for my cousin and I related to time constraints. Under the impression the tour guide would provide optimal routes to navigate the museum and provide critical information. This was simply not the case. My cousin and I arrived 10 minutes early to the meeting point only to find no tour guide found. I called the tour guides number multiple times with only going to voice mail. I then proceeded to call Viator directly and they too were unable to contact the tour guide. I ultimately would not book a private tour experience through this specific outlet on viator due to the unreliableness.
