Erwin Olaf is a beautiful photo exhibition. - The exhibition of photos by Erwin Olaf is overwhelmingly beautiful. The film with Erwin Olaf gives a lot of insight into the thought world of Erwin Olaf.

A wonderful museum even if modern art is not your “Thing”! - A wonderful and diverse collection of contemporary art with lots of local focus. I am not a huge modern art lover but this was so multifaceted it absolutely won us over!!

Nice. - Friendly Service, good flow of visitors. Despite the rain it went well. Beautiful rendering of the work of Erwin Olaf over the years.

Impressive. - Beautiful retrospective of Erwin Olaf. You must have seen that. A beautiful time image of his reportage photography, his art photography, as well as an interview and a number of videos of beautiful still images. Also a room with his dance club photography in which you even get an impression of how he photographs when you are spoken to through a screen as if you were the next model to be photographed.

Wonderful time - I had a very nice time at this museum. I am not typically a huge fan of modern/contemporary art but I liked this quite a lot. The various exhibitions that were on were enjoyable and sometimes challenging, and I thought the museum did well to focus on a somewhat common theme (oppressed or less advantaged people pushing back against power) in many of the exhibits. I didn’t find it too crowded and was there for 2.5 hours or so which for me was the perfect length. Of particular note is the Drama 1882 showing that was on when I was there. This was definitely the highlight for me. The music was outstanding (as was everything else) and I very much enjoyed being able to hear it in the background in some of the rooms nearby as well. It created quite a cool vibe.

Beautiful pictures but way too many visitors at once. - Erwin Olaf's retrospective was far too busy! As a result, you had to penetrate some rooms to see something!

Employee aggressively dismisses visitors at Erwin Olaf exhibition - I came especially for the exhibition of Erwin Olaf from the east, over 2 hours trains and 30min walk to the museum. After an expensive ticket and a 15min wait in line for the exhibition of Erwin Olaf, a staff member came very unkindly to tell us that it was too busy and for the next 20min no one was allowed into the exhibition. In short, after traveling more than 3 hours especially for this I was turned away by an employee and paid 22.50 for this. Worst museum ever visited in the Netherlands.

Unfortunately it turned out that museum was closed - Too bad I only received a message 1 day before I was supposed to go that the museum was closed due to demonstration. Ticket was ordered. Tickets were no longer sold at all other museums days before October 5.
