Underrated museum that is totally worth a visit - This museum is underrated. The street art displays are huge and beautiful. Just hop on the free ferry and you'll get there in no time. It's not crowded at all and the cafe is decent for a quick break. I spent more than 2 hours there and enjoyed the visit. Totally recommended for those who want to appreciate different kinds of art.

Go! Be inspired! Take the (free) ferry! - The Straat was recommended by a friend who is a travel writer. Though it is a bit off the beaten path, it’s worth a quick ferry ride (or bus/metro) to this newly developed industrial area turned hip artists and business district. The collection is ever changing, inspiring, thought provoking and unique. With thoughtful descriptions of each piece and a few video explanations (along with guide via QR code) this is an engaging contemporary “museum” experience. You can even buy spray paint at the gift store and create your own work of art on the building exterior. Great original experience for teens too

Amazing space and art - This should be higher in the list of must visits. A quick free ferry ride to the museum. The space is spectacular! A huge old shipping warehouse that has been sensitively restored so it looks so authentic. Cafe wasn’t amazing but we didn’t mind. The art was also spectacular and the size of each piece fitted perfectly with the space. The sculpture was also amazing and would love to see more sculpture in future. A must visit in Amsterdam

A must for anyone who likes art and colors - for those who are not only focused on the “old masters”, this exhibition is an absolute must ! It's incredible how people with spray cans can create such works of art. I can only recommend it to anyone to view this exhibition. Ferry four is a great way to cross from the ferry port of Central Station. Not only the exhibition, but also the location manage to draw every half-art-savvy person into his band. Afterwards, the visitor can have a delicious smoothie in the small café and let the impressions sink in. An absolute recommendation from me.

Great museum and gallery - A fantastic space full of great installations that are larger than lid. Just next door was a fab cafe bar and next to that was an old warehouse where artists have their studios and you can just wander and look at discarded works and see them at work. BUT is out of the way and is a good walk/ferry from central station. We Ubered for about £10-£12 each way

It exceeded my expectations - If you are in Amsterdam it is really worth going there! You will find beautiful works by artists from all over the world, some of them convey important messages that make you think. Also worth a walk is the museum district, the NDSM werf, where you can admire works by many writers.

Great! - Great, made with my 18-year-old son. We really liked the place and the exhibition. Little nicer, ferry ride (free) to get there. The atmosphere is great. Possibility of dining nearby.
