On the 2 hour cruise you can see the larger main canals with the grand mansions, as well as the river Amstel and the smaller canals with beautiful views such as the Raamgracht. We tailor the route on the weather and the time of day but of course we can also include your wishes and ideas, so don’t hesitate to let the captain know!

The cruise features a delightful sharing platter with Dutch cheeses, nuts, olives, and cheese sticks. Guests can enjoy a self-service open bar offering local craft beers, high-quality European wines, soft drinks, and juices.
For the Ultimate Canal Cruise, the luxury boats Stan Huygens and Pure Spirit are primarily used, as described below.
Stan Huygens:
- An iconic canal yacht, once a favorite and regularly chartered by Freddy Heineken
- Accommodates up to 24 guests
- Live commentary provided by your host and captain
- Open bar service managed by your host
- Windows and sunroof can be opened or closed depending on the weather.
Pure Spirit:
- A beautifully restored classic launch
- Accommodates up to 16 guests
- Live commentary provided by your captain
- Self-service open bar – the captain serves the first round, then guests can help themselves
- (Semi) open boat. Depending on the weather, the Pure Spirit will either be open or covered with a modular canopy.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 18 year
- Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
- Minimum cruising age is 14+
- Maximum group size is 16 guests
- This cruise is not suitable for stag parties/bachelorette parties. Please get in touch so we organize a private event.

Best canal tour!!! - Captain Rob was a great tour guide, this was the best canal tour in so glad I chose pure boats! 100/10! Cute boat, great wine and beer selection and snacks!

THE canal cruise!! - This tour was amazing. Intimate with only 10 people on our boat. Great views at sunset on the canal. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. Good wine, beer, and snack options. 10/10 experience will recommend Pure Boats to anyone looking for a canal cruise.

Book this tour ! So much fun - Book this tour now ! You will not be disappointed. We had a wonderful time cruising around the canals with some other fun folk , enjoying a beverage (or two 😉) a snack and humorous commentary by our guide Robert.

Pure Boats does a great job! - We enjoyed our afternoon canal cruise, hosted by Robert. First, seeing the city from the water offers so many great and different perspectives. The boat is pristine and although the weather wasn’t great, between the awning and heat, everyone stayed warm.
It’s also a plus that the group sizes are smaller and the seating invited conversation among the guests.
Robert was knowledgeable and interesting. The food and drinks were ample and delicious.

Don’t miss the chance to tour Amsterdam with Pure Boats. - Fabulous experience with Captain Robert onboard the beautiful Lucy. Toured the canals and saw Amsterdam from a different perspective. Captain Robert was knowledgeable and fun to be with. The food was excellent and the presentation superb. The drinks were enjoyable. I highly recommend Pure Boats for your trip to Amsterdam.

Wonderful Canal Cruise - don't miss it! - Our canal cruise was the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. The boat was beautiful and our tour guide/boat driver (young man, I can't remember his name) was funny, friendly and knowledgeable. The snacks and drinks were plentiful and delicious, and of course the views were amazing. We took copious photos and it was a wonderful addition to our vacation. We highly recommend taking this tour while you're in Amsterdam.

So relaxing! - This was a wonderful experience. 2 hours was the perfect amount of time to feel truly relaxed. Boat was comfortable and did not feel crowded. We had a nice spread of cheese, crackers, and stoopwaffles as well as numerous beer/wine and soft drink selections. The captain made sure to keep our glasses full as he gave us a little tour around Amsterdam. We really enjoyed the small group and more personable feel of this cruise.

Best part of our trip to Amsterdam!! - 10/10 - would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amsterdam!! We both thought it was the highlight of our trip - great food and drinks, great tour and great company! Our guides were great - overall the tour was the perfect mix of relaxing and informative. We also got to see so much of the city that we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. If we come back to Amsterdam we’ll definitely do this boat tour again. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Fabulous Canal Boat Tour - We had a great time on the canal boat tour. The guides were very informative and entertaining. We really liked going on a tour that was a smaller group. All our questions were answered. The shareable food provided was very good and the drinks were high quality. It was a very relaxing trip through the canals and a perfect ending to our Amsterdam trip. We highly recommend a tour with Pure Boats!
