For the Ultimate Canal Cruise, the luxury boats Stan Huygens and Pure Spirit are primarily used, as described below.
Stan Huygens:
- An iconic canal yacht, once a favorite and regularly chartered by Freddy Heineken
- Accommodates up to 24 guests
- Live commentary provided by your host and captain
- Open bar service managed by your host
- Windows and sunroof can be opened or closed depending on the weather.
Pure Spirit:
- A beautifully restored classic launch
- Accommodates up to 16 guests
- Live commentary provided by your captain
- Self-service open bar – the captain serves the first round, then guests can help themselves
- (Semi) open boat. Depending on the weather, the Pure Spirit will either be open or covered with a modular canopy.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Minimum drinking age is 18 year
- Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
- Minimum cruising age is 14+
- This cruise is not suitable for stag parties/bachelorette parties. Please get in touch so we organize a private event.

The best experience with our Captain Jaco! - We had the best experience with our captain Jaco! He gave us important history on the beautiful city of Amsterdam, making it fun and entertaining. The food was delicious and the weather was perfect. We were on the small open boat called "The Geertje". We highly recommend this adventure to you. Treat yourself to this unforgettable and unique way to see Amsterdam!

Fantastic use of your time in Amsterdam - Excellent experience. Check in was quick and organized. The boat approached the dock exactly when it was supposed to. The boat (Lucy) was was appointed with drinks, seating and was enclosed enough so that the passing showers didn’t spoil the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and really good with maneuvering the boat. Highly recommend!

Book them! - We booked this last minute & we are SO glad we did. Virginia was the voice (tour guide) she did GREAT! You could hear her, she spoke well & shared a wealth of knowledge about the area! Kudos to the bar, keeping the bubbles going, cheese plates were perfect. Thank you to the captain & boat crew for keeping us a float - lovely & smooth ride on a very nice boat! We think 2 hours is the way to go.

Wind Your Way Through Amsterdam in Style! - An amazing way to learn about the city, the canals and the history of Amsterdam! We loved our cruise. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and professional. The food and drink were wonderful. And the intimate atmosphere just perfect! It happened to rain a bit and we were so grateful to be covered. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely experience - We had a super time. The boat is immaculate, with leather seating and spacious tables. The windows were down and the glass roof was open. There were generously served drinks and nice snacks and good company. The views were constantly really interesting and the crew, Fond, Joe and Heine couldn't do enough for you and were also amazing. It was a trip highlight for us.

Simply the best! - Oh dear am I happy we heard about Pure Boats and booked the canal cruise with them! We had a 2 hour cruise on smallest Pure Spirit boat and it was just wonderful. We enjoyed quality wines and good snacks with fun guidance and laid back atmosphere. Highly recommend this wonderful experience!!

Great customer service - I had a scheduling conflict and I personally received a phone call from someone, who allowed us to take an earlier boat ride so I wouldn’t lose out on the money or experience. It was greatly appreciated. The boat was clean and comfortable and I would book again.
