By stepping back into WWII-era Amsterdam, participants will gain insight into Anne’s feelings during the war’s challenging times. Through her diary entries, the tour provides a glimpse into Anne’s life and the ‘secret annex.’
The tour concludes at a café, where guests can enjoy a drink and experience the Secret Annex through a virtual reality simulation created by the Anne Frank Foundation. Entering the hiding place via the bookcase, the VR experience includes furniture, offering a sense of life there from 1942-44, unlike the actual house.
With no crowds, visitors can explore the Anne Frank house at their own pace, making it an excellent alternative for those unable to secure tickets or access the Annex.
