Countryside Bike Tour with electric bike through the astonishing nature area of Waterland with great sceneries, just outside the city of Amsterdam. During this bike tour, you will explore the typical Dutch landscape and small villages like Broek in Waterland and Monnickendam. The tour starts with a ferry ride and just after that, we will guide you along ancient old villages as well as historical farms with cows and sheep. Besides you will visit a windmill. We will also visit a Cheese farm where you can see how cheese is made and of course taste as many cheeses as you like. E-bikes are unsuitable for persons shorter than 160 cm or 5 feet 3 inches!

Amsterbike. From Amsterdam Central Station by foot, 10 minutes walk. Follow the Ruyterkade in the eastern direction along the IJ riverside direction Moevenpick Hotel.
From Amsterdam Central Station by tram. Take tram 26 at Central station direction Ijburg and get off at the first stop Bimhuis.

We had a great trip... - We had a great trip biking through the countryside with our guide Rad. He kept us moving at a brisk pace and the electric bikes allowed us to see a lot of sights unique to the countryside. Rad was very knowledgeable and fun which made the tour even better

A MUST for the true Netherlands experience! - Marcelino our guide was great! He was very accommodating and continually asking if anyone in the group needed to stop for a breather. The serene and picturesque countryside views are a perfect contrast to the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam and truly helped give us a well rounded experience of the beauty that encompasses the country. The stops along the way to the beautiful little towns straight out of a Hallmark movie. I enjoyed that you have a few minutes at each stop to explore and never made us feel rushed well, still keeping us on schedule. The visit to the family owned and operated cheese farm was a nice treat after the bike ride. After the introduction to the cheesemaking process, we had the opportunity to taste test 20+ cheeses at the cutest gift shop with plenty of options, you are sure to walk away with something! Definitely a must!

Perfect bike ride through the countryside! - Riding bikes through the countryside of Holland was a perfect day! We had abnormally beautiful warm weather and clear skies to complement it further. Mariano was a fantastic tour guide and really looked out for all of us!

Great experience biking outside of Amsterdam! - We all loved this bike tour of the countryside! We are a group of four adults and one toddler. Our guide was awesome and the electric bikes were great. We all enjoyed the cheese tasting and bought some for home!

Enjoyable tour in the Dutch countryside - This tour offers an opportunity to spend a few hours in the beautiful Dutch countryside, see some pretty villages and learn a little about Dutch cheese-making (and get up close with some cows and goats!) . |Our guide, Olag, was super-well organised and friendly and made everyone feel welcome. The e-bikes were high-quality and made the distance and pace seem effortless. I definitely recommend this tour if you want to get out of the city for a while and I'll probably be back for more tours myself!

Do not recommend - Not what I expected. Name of tour is Windmills, Cheese, and Clogs tour. We saw ONE Windmill on side of highway after cycling for 50 minutes. We then headed to Cheese shop which was slammed packed. Got to taste many of their cheeses but it was crowded and many people would jump in front of us to grab some cheese rather than following the flow of people in line. There were no clogs on tour, and when asked about where they were the guide said "oh, we don't do that anymore, I have told the owner to change the website". We biked for 4 hours, the guide was ok, but we really didn't see much, nor was much history or information shared with us. I would not recommend this tour if you typically do bike tours in cities to learn more about them, or to get a lay of the land.
