Great way to get out of the city on a bike - Book this tour - especially for those who want to ride a bike in Amsterdam but maybe not so much in the city. Our family of 4 (parents & 2 college aged teens) had a great time. Small group. Check Funny and informative host. Check Great experience. Check Time spent outdoors. Check Short ride from shop to ferry then it’s smooth sailing along easy paths through a number of small villages before heading back. Did I mention e-bike. Couldn’t be easier. You ride by farms, villages, old church, cows, sailboats and it keeps going. Guide stopped throughout to keep group together, tell stories and facts and just make sure everyone was is good spirits. The city of Amsterdam is cool but it was great to see something off the beaten path.

A scenic, varied and enjoyable ride - What a great few hours. I chose this tour due to the positive reviews and as I haven't been biking much lately, I appreciated that it was a shorter time (2.5 hours) but still out in the countryside. Kendra was an excellent guide for our group of 6. She did a brief and useful orientation about e-bikes and kept a good eye on everyone and a good pace. I had never used an e-bike and have never gotten comfortable with gears. I miss those old beach bikes with the pedal brakes! Kendra guided me in using the gears and I now feel completely comfortable with that. The e-bike controls were easy and especially useful when the wind came up quite strongly. Kendra is very knowledgeable about all aspects of The Netherlands and conveys the information in a very understandable and funny manner. And we asked a LOT of questions. The pace was comfortable with just the right amount of stops to chat, look at the cows, sheep, goats, buildings, flood control measures, scenes reminiscent of those old Dutch paintings-- it was actually quite a scenic, varied and enjoyable ride--I highly recommend this or any of Amsterdames offerings.

E-bike windmill day - We are seniors and I was worried it would be too much for me. It was my first and only time on an e-bike. Returning home, my husband asked, “what was the most memorable thing?” It was the day I thought I couldn’t handle. The e-bike tour. It was a fun filled day. As long as you have experience riding a bike, it is doable. The ride across on the ferry, the explanations, tour of the windmills was fantastic. Nick, our guide, was super knowledgeable and ensured we were all together. Next time in Amsterdam, I’m definitely spending another day biking past the windmills.

Fun bike ride! - This was a fun tour and we had a great guide Corbin. Plenty of stops along the way to learn about the countryside and it’s history. Corbin. kept us all together, and I felt very safe riding a short distance through the streets of Amsterdam to get to a ferry. Then, after the ferry ride out into the countryside! It was a great day and thank you Corbin for your guidance.

Best Activity in Amsterdam! - This was the most amazing activity we have done in Amsterdam. Our tour guide kept us safe and took us 25 miles through the most beautiful land I have ever seen. My 12 year old loved it. We also met great people on our tour and the bikes were very new and well maintained. We felt safe and had the BEST time. Would 100 percent recommend this activity.

great ebike tour or the countryside - this was a really lovely tour. the guide, gabriel, was friendly and knowledgeable. the ride out is through gorgeous countryside with stops on the way to learn about windmills and amsterdam history. zaanse schas was cute if obviously for tourists. i wouldn't have minded a few more minutes there to explore. we took a different route back to the city to see more sights. the whole thing was a breeze on ebikes.

Best tour ever!! - Best tour I’ve ever taken…and I’ve done many throughout Europe!! Kendra…our guide was an American but us now Dutch. She was knowledgeable about the history of The Netherlands, the politics, economics of living here, real estate of Amsterdam and social environment. The bike ride was relaxed with the E-bikes and we stopped many times to talk about what we were seeing. Great pace. I highly recommend!!! Seeing a working windmill was the highlight of the day!
