You will receive an information sheet in your language and you will be able to explore this windmill yourselves. It is possible to climb up to the platform to have the best view over the river, the countryside and Zaanse Schans.
- Catharina Hoeve Cheese Farm - Visit this cheese farm where you’ll receive a presentation about cheese making. After this, you will have the time to taste a large variety of cheeses in the cheese shop

Nice experience- a bit of all that is Dutch - Good experience with a little bit of everything!
I recommend an early time slot, as the later it gets, the more crowded it gets.

Fun! - This is great for anyone who wants a quick tour with a smaller group/more intimate setting. While not a long tour, it was enough to get basic history of the place and have time to shop.

Brilliant trip to Zaans Schan with Zaans Tours - Excellent service. Pickup was on time, bus was clean, driver was safe & courteous. Bianca, our guide, was friendly and very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the visit to Zaans Schan and would highly recommend Zaans Tours.

Charming - What a fabulous spot. Just the right amount of time to enjoy this charming area. Our tour guide Sharon was perfection, nice touch is that she actually lives here. Area out of a story book.

Great trip! - Great day in Zaanse Schans. I didn't know what to expect, it's quite interesting, my husband (an engineer) LOVED every bit of seeing how the windmills worked etc. It was freezing the day we were there, but our guide was lovely and kept things moving so that we were outside for minimal time.
