• Jinvali Water Reservoir - This artificial reservoir was established in 1984 and is situated 40 km from Tbilisi in the Dusheti region, along the Aragvi River. The Zhinvali reservoir is nestled away from human view, surrounded by stunning mountains that reflect beautifully on its water surface along with the sky. Currently, the Zhinvali reservoir serves two purposes: generating electricity and providing water to the city of Tbilisi.
• Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Ananuri Castle is a large, well-preserved fortress located on the banks of the Zhinvali reservoir. It is positioned directly on the Georgian Military Highway, approximately 70 kilometers from Tbilisi. This is one of Georgia’s most renowned castles, once owned by the Aragvi rulers.
• Sno - Be amazed by the enormous sculptures under the open sky!
• Sno - The construction date of Sno Castle is unknown. Comparative analysis suggests it was likely built in the latter half of the 16th century or possibly the early 17th century. Its history remains largely a mystery, with only a single mention in the early 1730s.
• Juta - The village of Juta is among the highest settlements (2200 m) in the Kazbegi municipality. The Chaukhi mountain range, located nearby, is part of the main ridge of the Caucasus mountain range, at the source of the Bakurkhevi River.
