- Cook Inlet - We will drive alongside the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet along the beautiful Seward Highway; we will make a special photo stop.
- Beluga Point - We will pass by Beluga Point on the Cook Inlet where we will look out for Beluga Whales & Dall Sheep (if the right time of season) and enjoy spectacular views of the ocean & mountains….
- Cook Inlet - We will drive alongside the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet along the beautiful Seward Highway; we will make a special photo stop.
- Beluga Point - We will pass by Beluga Point on the Cook Inlet where we will look out for Beluga Whales & Dall Sheep (if the right time of season) and enjoy spectacular views of the ocean & mountains. Time permitting, we will make a stop.
- Bird Creek - We drive over this famous fishing creek, and if the right time of season, might see fisherman lined along the banks hoping to catch Silver salmon.
- Explorer Glacier - Weather permitting, we might spot some hanging valley glaciers in the mountaintops on our drive at the end of the Turnagain Arm!
- Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center - Our main attraction is the amazing non-profit wildlife sanctuary that has rehabilitated & provided a forever-home for some injured & orphaned wild Alaska animals. We will spend approximately 1.5+ hours at the center. Half will be guided & half will be free time to explore on your own.

A picturesque drive along the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet will offer you breathtaking views while en route to one of the best attractions in southcentral Alaska - the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center! We will guide you through this wildlife sanctuary while sharing about the injured and orphaned wild animals in their care; you’ll also have some free time to walk around on your own. This trip is approximately one hour each way to the wildlife center with approximately 1.5-2 hours at the center itself, totaling a 4-hour educational tour with spectacular scenery the whole way!

Be ready for pickup 10 minutes before your tour on the 7th Avenue sidewalk in front of the Dena'ina Civic & Convention Center in downtown Anchorage. Please use the restroom before arriving to the pickup location.

We took the Wildlife Tour... - We took the Wildlife Tour and our guide was David, the owner of Frontier Tours. He was very personable and knowledgeable. The Wildlife Center was very interesting. On the road back to Anchorage, we were stopped due to a fatal accident which meant no way to return to Anchorage for hours. He turned the fan around and headed us back the way we’d come and took us to several really cool places. He turned what could have been a long wait in a non-moving line into a fun adventure. If you are in Anchorage, this is the tour company you want to use,

Amazing Alaskan wildlife! - David was fantastic! On the way out he spot whales and we pulled over to view them. He is so knowledgeable about the Alaskan wildlife and previewed what we were about to see - I’ve travelled the globe and he is at the top of his field!

David was a wonderful... - David was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable about the state of Alaska and the Wildlife Center. We really appreciated the hotel pickup option. This tour is a great way to get out of the city to see some beautiful scenery and animals.

Best tour ever - David did an excellent job in explaining everything we were passing and it’s history about the areas we are in the time, he spoke to everyone in the party personally and made it very comfortable in this tour we would recommend this tour to everyone to book. I will book this again when I go through here, I really wish there was a higher rating then excellent because David really deserves a higher rating. I hope this helps you on your next trip decision

Great! - David is a great guide. He's super knowledgeable and I learned a lot. It was sunny and warm the day I went and the animals were active. David told us their stories and talked a about the conservation efforts that are underway. He was equally informative on the rise there and back.
