“It’s designated as an All-American Road and Scenic By-Way for good reason. The highway runs along the coast south of Anchorage, with the Cook Inlet on your right and the mountains of Chugach State Park on your left.” -

This is a fantastic opportunity to observe many of Alaska’s most sought-after wildlife in a secure and animal-friendly park! The bears are charming, but encountering one in the wild can be quite daunting. Many of Alaska’s wildlife species are elusive, and even though moose are quite common, visitors might go days or even weeks without spotting one, while on some days, you might see several. However, a visit to Alaska’s Wildlife Conservation Center ensures you’ll see these animals and many more!
Licensed by Alaska’s Transportation Department, this tour is designed for groups of 3 to 10 people due to the structure of Viator commissions and park fees. If you are traveling alone or as a pair, you can still book the tour, but the charge will be for 3 to 10 people to make it viable. Hope that makes sense.
