This is a small group transfer and tour on the way to the cruise ship in Whittier. Transportation will be provided in a comfortable 15-passenger van, accommodating a maximum of 12 guests. If guests have more than one suitcase and one carry-on bag per person, they should contact us in advance to ensure we can accommodate their luggage.
Following hotel pickups, the journey will proceed down the scenic Seward Highway along the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet, including a photo stop to capture the breathtaking views. A drive of approximately one hour will take guests to one of Southcentral Alaska’s top attractions - the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Guests will be guided through part of the center and will also have some free time to explore independently. After spending 1.5-2 hours at the wildlife center, the drive will continue through the picturesque Portage Valley, leading to an intriguing one-way tunnel that stretches 2.5 miles through Mount Maynard into the quaint port town of Whittier, AK. Drop-off will be conveniently located next to the cruise terminal immediately upon arrival in Whittier. The total duration of the trip is approximately 3.75-4 hours.
