Good overview of Anchorage - A great overview with a guide who was funny relating why AK was better than any state you are from as he explained Anchorage, the earthquake, and the use of airplanes in AK. Frequent stops allowing you to get off the trolley and take pictures. Lots of laughs as well.

Trolley tours is a must for Anchorage - We had a free day in Anchorage so we did the deluxe tour and the salmon express tour. Both were informative and interesting. The drivers were excellent with history and information on the city and even the fish hatchery. Would definitely recommend these tours.

Incredible Tour - This tour was absolutely amazing! Our guide, Donna was entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. She is a multi-generational Alaskan and shared personal experiences that really elevated the tour. I highly recommend this tour!

Stick with the Trolley - Ace was a great host! 1.5 hours was perfect. We were killing time on a Thursday waiting for a Saturday wedding. We went on another “tour” with another company after Ace’s tour. The second tour was supposed to have food and insider information. Its sucked. Almost 4 hours of boredom. Food was laughable. Basically they took you to places for samples so you would buy products. Hit the same spots that Ace hit, but clearly Ace was much more knowledgeable. Stick with the Trolley tour. Don’t get in the van!! Ace gets 5 stars!

A worthwhile tour. Very information. All interests and ages. - Anchorage Deluxe Trolley tours is certainly worth it. Very informative. Great guides. Friendly staff. A really good way to get a good overview of Anchorage and it was excellent hearing what its like to grow up in Alaska from both Lilly (sorry if I have the name wrong) in training as well as our experienced guide that with her. Some really interesting stories and very knowledge information about all things Anchorage. History, Cultural, Wildlife, life living in Alaska, seaplanes. It’s all in there. Very interesting for all ages and varied interests. I recommend this tour early in your visit to Anchorage but if you decide to do it at the end you will still get lots of interesting information out of it.

Ho Hum, with too many yucks - This was a “just OK” experience. Yes, there were some interesting sites, and a decent look at Anchorage, but not all that much to see, of interest. It could have been much better if our guide, a pleasant enough fellow, had not tried so hard to polish his stand up comedy act, rather than giving more information on Anchorage and Alaska. To be entirely fair, when he did talk of history or places of interest, he seemed knowledgeable and was interesting. I didn’t pay $100 for two to walk with just a shrug of my shoulders and a feeling that we missed out on discovering what Anchorage was all about. We’ve done many city trolley tours, but this one was near the bottom in either interest or value.
