Visit Anchorage - We took the trolley tour in Anchorage. The driver was quite informative and humorous. The tour gave a great overview of the city and helped us see that the city is quite walkable. The $45 cost was worth it. The free visitor center at the start/stop is worth visiting; you get a free stamp for your postcard. Also, if Rick(??) is there, ask to see his money collection from around the world. Ever see folding money from North Korea? BTW: We ate lunch at 49th State Brewery downtown and can highly recommend its food and brews. The Bavarian pretzel is one the best ever, including Germany! The views are really nice too. 49th State also has restaurant in the airport, but with limited menu and it isn't nearly as charming.

Sunday drive with Anchorage Trolley Tour with Jodi - We were lucky to have Jodi as our driver and tour guide. She was very imformative and we did learn several things we did not know about Alaska and Anchorage. She was a safe driver and at same time had great sense of humor. The process of purchasing the tickets, to boarding to the entire tour was great.

Amazing and Informative - The trolley tour was amazing! It was informative, funny, and a great way to see many sights around Anchorage that we had on our list and some you would never even know about! We honestly wish it was longer. Prince was our tour guide and he made it interactive, had many jokes, showed us some great scenery and points of interest that we decided to go back to on our own. He even sang the Alaska state song and it was beautiful. (If the company reads this he deserves a bonus!) we had people in my group of 5 ranging from mid 20’s to mid 60’s and we all enjoyed it. At the end I asked him a place he recommended to eat-Simon and Seaforts- and it was our favorite meal of the ten day trip (and best view)

Don’t go - We did not get out once. No good photo ops… I regret the purchase. It’s a crowded stuffy trolley, staff are nice. Maybe the other one is better.

Not worth money - Didn’t feel that the information given was always relevant to the tour. Would like to have had a more educational tour about Anchorage and not where he went to school and a look at a house which is built beneath the ground - you can only see the roof lights ! Shame as expected more
