Best tour in Alaska yet - My granddaughter (14 years old) took the 4-hour tour with owner/tour guide Bob. We both enjoyed our trip with PicTours Alaska down the Seward Highway. We stopped at the Wildlife Conservation Center and at Portage to get a good look at the ring of glaciers. The scenery was beautiful, the drive was pleasant with enough stops to keep us from getting tired of sitting. Lovely trip.
Wildlife was scarce along the highway, but the Alaska WIldlife Conservation Center more than made up for that. My granddaughter got a good up-close look at bears - both grizzly and back, as well as porcupine, wolf, and wolverine.
Bob obviously loves his job. You can tell he enjoys telling people about the history of the area and he is full of facts about Turnagain Arm, the bore tide, the glaciers (he knows them all by name), wildlife he's seen on his tours, and much more. He is very knowledgeable about the area he visits with his clients.
I have lived in Alaska for more than 40 years and have been on a number of tours throughout the state, and this one tops them all.
Thank you, Bob. This was great - fulfilled all my expectations.

Wonderful, last minute referral and the BEST thing I did! - So, I had originally booked a different tour, but for whatever reason, it fell through. The consciarge at the Lakefront recommended Bob and called him, and gratefully, he had a seat. This was the best thing I did! As a solo traveler, sometimes it's hard to take as many pictures as you want to on a vacation, but I less able to sit in the van and ended up with such great pictures because Bob knew exactly where to go! The tips I got on photography were wonderful and I never knew so much about my camera on my phone! It'll sure make it easier with future trips and taking those great quality photos without lugging my camera and equipment around! But for those of you that have professional camera, there's so many tips and little tidbits that you learn… this was just a wonderful tour! Bob is a great tour guide with so much knowledge of the area, where to go, where the best photo ops are and his great personality just lend it to being a 5 star trip. My 4 hours went by way too quick and I promise, if I'm ever back in the great white North, this will be that 1st tour I book again, everytime! Thanks so much Bob! You're awesome and my birthday present is placed predominantly for all to view!!

Amazing Tour - Had the most brilliant time with Bob on this tour. He was very informative and provided many opportunities for us to take photographs - bears, eagles, moose, goats, icebergs. Despite the weather - (horizontal rain!!!) a thoroughly wonderful tour
Highly recommended

Knowledgeable guide - Bob knows a great deal about the area & the area is amazing. I've never been on a tour on which the driver did not allow guests to sit where they chose to. That was weird. He provided water & snacks which was great.
