Best Weather of the Season - We had an amazing trip on the Klondike Express. Great seats and customer service. I highly recommend the salmon chowder. You will not be seated for long, so much scenery to capture. Bring your camera and phone charger. You will see glaciers, wildlife and calving if you are lucky. Our calving experience was pretty close to Harvard Glacier.,

Astounding views - While the port of Whittier does not have a whole lot to offer, getting there is amazing and this boat tour is astounding. We did not have high expectations for lunch but the Salmon Chowder was very good. The entire tour was smooth (no issues with motion sickness whatsoever) and the sights were astounding! Well worth a full day!

If you get a good captain... - If you get a good captain he or she will dock at Surprise glacier long enough for you to see calving from the glacier. We had a good captain.

Don’t miss this Alaskan Adventure - If you want to experience Alaska scenery and magnificent glaciers, this is a “must do” on your bucket list. We drove from Anchorage to Whittier, and the provided instructions and maps were accurate, plus the drive was VERY scenic and easy. The ship, crew, and all promises in the marketing ads of no seasickness, a hot meal, and magnificent glaciers were so accurate and did not disappoint. The sailing excursion of about 5.5 hours around the fjords and inlets of Prince William Sound also delivered close up views of sea otters and seals. The Harvard glacier (2nd largest in Alaska) was awesome, and we witnessed a caving of the ice.

Fantastic Experience - Everything about this cruise was wonderful. The catamaran style boat prevented sea sickness, the boat was roomy, the staff attentive and the food was delicious! Even though we didn’t see a lot of wildlife, we had a great glacier experience. The captain was very informative and we learned a lot. Overall, worth the money.

Surprise Glacier was awesome! - No choice as to where to sit, windows versus interior, and no way to preorder meals. Skipper made sure that each side of boat was able to see. Calving glacier, three times, included one glacial shooter (up from below). Raft of sea otters of abt 30 - 35 animals. Stellar Sea Lions on small icebergs. Wonderful trip, dress warmly! Crowded ship though!

2 Glacier Tour, not 26 - This outfit had a very poor protocol for an injured passenger. 250+ passengers trip was compromised because of one person. They turned the boat around and returned to port after viewing 2 glaciers. They should have sent a helicopter or speed boat to pick up the injured at the cost of the injured party. Very poor judgement on HQ. Waivers should be signed to protect the non injured passengers so their trip isn’t ruined and the injured is held responsible for their unfortunate malady.
