Best Tour Ever!!! - The best tour ever!!! We were out for hours! Saw the bore tide and people surfing it! Loads of wildlife and ended with wine at a great winery!!! Totally recommend this tour! Will do it again the next time I’m in Anchorage!!!

My guide was more than... - My guide was more than incredible. She took me to places that were a surprise, and just special. I told her yesterday it was one of the most special and magical days I've had in a long time. For me, I needed this experience for self-care and time for myself. I got much more than that. Thank you all so much:)

Best views, wildlife and fun! - I don’t even know where to start and the words I use here will not do justice to the experience we had yesterday with Angie and Adventurous Winos. I highly recommend booking with this company. Booking- sometimes it’s overwhelming to see all of the options for tours when visiting a new place. Anyone who names their company Adventurous Winos is my kind of person!! We saw the tour for wildlife and wine tasting and thought that would fit our needs. My husband called to get more info - Angie’s personality, flexibility and knowledge was evident. She was communicative and arrived at our hotel exactly as agreed upon. Angie’s knowledge and history in the area is one thing that sets her apart from other tours. She was able to tailor our timing so we could see the most in our day. She is also an excellent photographer and took lots of great pictures of my husband and I. We started with the scenic drive and pulled off to see the coastline, Dahl sheep, and other surprises! Angie paid attention to the time and got us through the tunnel to Whittier with just enough time to stop for a quick bathroom break! She took us to see areas and views you will not get on other tours. Yes there is wine tucked in at some picturesque places which allows for a celebratory toast!! We had a bit of a detour when my husband saw a Vet with a flat (destroyed) tire. Angie was on board with us stopping to change his tire and we STILL got to see everything we wanted to see. Our next stop was the Wildlife Center. This is where Angie really shines. Her knowledge of the animals and her passion for conservation and care of these creatures is yet another area that she is set apart from other tours. She was even teaching other tour guides about the animals! A huge treat on our way back to town was a male Dahl sheep right off the side of the road. We stopped and took a bunch of pictures. I’m not sure who was more thrilled- us or Angie!! Last stop was the wine tasting. We got to taste 5 wines in a quaint and fun wine shop. The owner was super hospitable and guided us to wines we would enjoy. We ended our day with Angie dropping us off at our restaurant for dinner. This was the most perfect, fun, day filled with memories and laughs that will last a lifetime. Here is the one negative thing I will say about our day….. I’m truly afraid the rest of the tours we have set up will pale in compassion to this!! Thanks Angie for a great day!!
