ANTANANARIVO - ANDASIBE PERINET VILLAGE

Andasibe - 8:00 AM – The operator will meet you at your hotel or the airport. The journey begins with a drive to Andasibe village, located 4 hours east of Tana along national road N°2. Along the way, there is an opportunity to stop at Madagascar Exotic Park, a privately managed reserve in Marozevo, situated between Manjakandriana and Moramanga. This popular tourist destination offers a chance to see a variety of reptiles, butterflies, moths, insects, and more, ensuring a memorable day.

By 6:30 PM, embark on a night safari at VOIMM, the community park, to observe nocturnal animals. Discover the smallest lemurs and other endemic reptiles. Be prepared with a raincoat, spray, and a flashlight.

Manambato - After breakfast, continue to the picturesque village of Manambato. Following a two-hour drive on RN2, an off-road journey leads to the riverside, where a private boat ride on the Pangalane River to the Palmarium Reserve awaits. Experience the daily life of local farmers and fishermen amidst tribal culture. The boat ride lasts about an hour, passing by Rasoabe and Rasoa Kely Lakes, concluding at the serene ‘Dream Nest.’

Reserve Le Palmarium - After breakfast, explore the Palmarium Reserve with a local guide to discover its hidden treasures. This reserve is renowned for being an ideal spot to see the rare “Aye-Aye” lemur, along with other lemur species and reptiles. The guided walk lasts approximately 3 hours. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon boat excursion to visit a nearby village and admire the beautiful Indian Ocean beach just behind the Pangalane River.

By 5:30 PM - Participate in a night excursion to observe the Aye-Aye lemur in its natural habitat, as this is the best place to spot them easily.

Antananarivo - At 6:30 AM, the final day in nature begins. A one-hour speedboat ride returns to Manambato, where the car awaits for a 7-hour drive to Antananarivo on road N°2. Arrival in the capital is in the late afternoon, with drop-off at your hotel or directly at the airport for evening flights.

VISIT ANALAMAZAOTRA RESERVE PARK - PALMARIUM RESERVE

Analamazaotra Special Reserve - 8:00 AM - Enjoy a guided visit to the Analamazaotra rainforest area of Madagascar. Experience the park’s wildlife, including over 5 species of lemurs, birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. Spot the largest lemur, “Indri-Indri,” and hear their calls from 4-5 km away. After the visit, proceed to Vakona Forest Lodge for lunch and an excursion to meet lemurs on their private island. Visit Andasibe village and return to the hotel.
