Byeongsan Seowon - Byeongsanseowon Confucian Academy traces its origins to Pungakseodang, an educational institution in Pungsan, Andong, from the mid-Goryeo period. It was a gathering place for the children of local Confucian scholars.
Over 200 years, many families settled near Seodang, and roads were constructed. As Confucian scholars sought a new location for Seodang, Seo-ae Ryu Seong-ryong consulted his teacher in Hahoe after his father’s passing. Seo-ae recommended Byeongsan as the ideal site, and in 1575 (Seonjo 8), the scholars relocated Seodang to Byeongsan, renaming it Byeongsan Seowon.
Byeongsan Seowon contributed to local education, producing numerous scholars, and was one of the 47 seowons that remained intact even when Heungseon Daewongun ordered their abolition in 1868 (Gojong 5). (27 Seowon, 20 Saeng)

Andong Old Market - Andong Old Market is a traditional local market where visitors can experience the authentic daily life of Andong.
The market is bustling with small shops and food stalls offering local specialties, street food, and fresh produce. It is particularly renowned for Andong Jjimdak. - Woljeong Bridge - The moon descending from the sky, floating on the river, and touching our hearts, the gentle moonlight revives forgotten dreams and becomes the moonlight of the lake again, aiming to remain a beautiful memory. Wolyeonggyo is a sculpture that captures this natural beauty, but more importantly, it commemorates the beautiful and profound love of the Lee Eung-tae couple who lived in this area for a long time. The shape of a pair of Mituri, crafted with the wife’s hair for her late husband, is incorporated into the design of this bridge. To eternalize their beautiful and poignant love, this bridge was built, allowing us to transform the moonlight of their sublime love into our love and dreams.
