Great your company! - So much fun. We were very lucky and saw lots of dolphins and a whale. Guides were very knowledgeable. We had rough waters on the ride back, but the boat driver and guide were great at navigating and making the ride as smooth as possible. Also had great communication prior to the tour. Definitely reccemd.

Nice change to do! Recommended - You leave from the port, near the public toilets. You can park your car for free at Parque Municipal do Relvão then it is a short walk along the water. You will receive a raincoat and life jacket. They speak good English and are very friendly. We went on an open boat for 12 people. You will get a bit wet, but the raincoat is definitely protected! Unfortunately no whales seen but several dolphins (3 different species). The trip took about 3 hours and you could leave your backpack and other personal belongings there at their ‘office/offiice’. I just brought my phone. Tip: if you don’t have a phone that can withstand water, put a special case against water around it because I sometimes get quite wet. Luckily I had a big pair of sunglasses with me, which was nice against the splash and the reflection of the sun on the sea.

Repeat, top! - We went this morning and it was really funny.
We saw four species of dolphins, it was wonderful.
Joana and João were top.
Returning to the island I will go again with them without a doubt!
See that they love what they do and especially try to respect the habitat of the animals, without wanting to put on them, found it very respectful in relation to marine life.
They were always impeccable with the marking via email, always responded very quickly and tried to speed the marking to my best time.
Still on the condition that if we don't see animals they return the euro.
Glad they didn't return,because it was wonderful.I recommend 100%.

Repeat! - As a first experience at sea, it was spectacular! The boat although it seems fragile is quite safe. We couldn't spot any whales despite the captain's effort but there were dolphins everywhere. But the highlight (for me) was the fact of being at sea in that magnificent landscape and seeing the island from afar - it was an unforgettable experience. Repeated without a shadow of doubt!

exciting. - the excursion is organized very well: you arrive at 8.15 to leave at 8.30, the staff explains what we are going to look for and what we can see, everyone must wear a life jacket. Optional (nobody took it) also offer the raincoat. You go with a small fast dinghy sitting in rows of two, it's not really comfortable, but it endures well. We were out almost 3 hours. We in late July were lucky with a beautiful sunny day and calm waters. We saw a myriad of dolphins in different places and 5 whales, two of them in pairs really very closely (the dinghy is essential)!
Dolphins are 100% certain, there are many groups that live permanently in the waters outside Angra do Heroismo, so you are sure to see them, while whales obviously depend on luck: the Picos de Aventura team was still very good! Experience to do (if possible Recommendation to book it in two different islands, maybe even with different companies, the important thing is to go by inflatable boat)

Amazing experience - Excellent boat tour which lasted circa 2 hours and 30 minutes. We were very lucky with the weather - nice temperature, clear skies and calm waters. During the tour we spotted sperm and pilot whales, and also saw various types of dolphins.
Also, although whales are much larger animals, the dolphins interacted more with the boat by coming closer and swimming alongside.
The tour agency asked us to arrive 15 minutes before for the safety briefing and getting a life vest. Recommended to take sunscreen as the boat is open and clothes that can get wet. Some participants had sports shoes while others wore flip flops. A wind breaker jacket might be useful depending on the weather and the agency had some available for free.

In the middle of the blue - The experience is so worth it. I went at 8:30 and saw sperm whales and dolphins. The boat is small but I didn't feel unsafe at any time. The people are very friendly.

Great experience! - Unfortunately we didn't see any whales but we had a great time watching the dolphins! The team took us to different places to try to see as much as possible and it was great. They also give us a lot of information on the species that we can observe (and in several languages). We highly recommend!

Sea outside!! - We really enjoyed the tour, the common and bottlenose dolphins showed up, the sperm whales missed the roll call…
We'll try again.
