Ilha Grande Day Excursion
Situated two hours to the south of Rio in the Verdant Coast region of Angra dos Reis, Ilha Grande boasts some of Brazil’s most stunning coastal scenery.
The island enjoys a tropical climate and is home to over a hundred beaches with serene, crystal blue-green waters. Its lush flora is an expansive rainforest, teeming with a variety of wildlife, breath-taking trails, and countless waterfalls nestled within the Atlantic’s heart.
Once we reach the island, we embark on a 6km hike from Abraão Bay to Lopes Mendes beach, ranked amongst the world’s top ten beaches. We suggest taking a boat ride on the return journey (optional).
