A small shop at the factory showcases finished products like “Nahuales” crafted into necklaces, bracelets, and keychains.
- Ciudad Vieja - Parking by the central plaza allows for a visit to the first cathedral built in Central America in 1534. A short walk in the plaza leads to the local market, where tortilla-making like the locals is demonstrated.
- San Antonio Aguas Calientes Central Park - The tour proceeds to San Antonio Aguas Calientes, featuring a textile museum and market. This stop offers some of the best views of the Fuego and Acatenango Volcanoes due to its proximity to this artisan town.

This tour offers an extensive exploration of the valley, visiting over five villages in the vicinity of Central Antigua. Participants will explore attractions such as a traditional textile museum, a Jade Factory, a chocolate factory, and the first cathedral constructed in Central America in 1534. The tour provides numerous aerial views of the city, panoramic views of the volcanoes, and an opportunity to engage with local Mayan villagers residing around Antigua. The journey includes driving through cobblestone streets and paved roads. To conclude the tour, guests will dine at a local restaurant in the village of San Pedro El Panorama, enjoying authentic Guatemalan cuisine.

Fun Cultural Tour - This was a great tour that took us to smaller towns outside of Antigua. We visited family-run businesses, including a chocolate factory, coffee plantation and textile weaving business; and a village market where we tried local foods. Riding the ATVs added an element of fun to the cultural excursion. Highly recommend!

Well worth the money. - Take bottled water, sunglasses and sunscreen. Eat breakfast prior to the trip. All the shops take credit cards or cash. Expect to get dusty.

Don’t hesitate, book it! - My friend and I actually did the mountain tour and let me just say it was amazing. Ethan was our guide and he was absolutely amazing. His energy made the experience that much better. Will definitely book again!

Incredible Experience! - We had the most incredible adventure with our guide Jose! He made sure that we remained safe amongst the traffic, explained so much about culture and history at each stop, and was an enthusiastic photographer for us. The length of the tour was perfect at 6 hours and definitely felt like we got our money’s worth.

Danilo Provided A Great Day! - I did this tour and it ended up being just me on the tour and my guide Danilo and I had the best day! He was the best guide and very knowledgeable. Riding through the small towns was incredible and was one of my favorite tours I’ve ever done. Having Danilo as a guide made it a 11/10 day - he is also an excellent photographer and try to have him as a guide if you can! He makes your experience extremely special.

ATV Villages Tour - We had a fantastic time on the ATV Villages tour with Fredy as our guide! He went above and beyond to ensure me and my wife had a great time and was very knowledgeable about each of the stops. There was plenty of time for driving the ATV through the lovely villages and countryside, and the right number of stops so that we didn’t feel too tired and could grab a coffee, snack, etc. Thanks Fredy!

Fun ATV Tour & Shopping with Leo!!! - My wife and I really enjoyed our fun cultural tour of small towns outside of Antigua. The town squares & churches were beautiful. Our guide Leo was very professional and his hand signals were very easy to follow. Leo was a super fantastic guide. In San Antonio we purchased hand made textiles from Lea. Prices much lower than Antigua! We had a delicious lunch in one of the small towns and stopped by a Chocolate association where me learned about cocoa beans and purchased some of Mayan Gods nectar chocolate and honey! The jade factory was lovely and we were able to find a masterpiece. Ask for Leo you can’t go wrong. Thanks Leo! Mark & Sheri

Antigua in December - Our tour was amazing. The guide was kind bf knew what he was doing. The rides are affordable and the views and food were beautiful.

Fun, but some of the stops could have been more interesting - I like how this tour was different, and it was fun riding the ATVs around town. We also got lucky and had a semi-private tour, with only one other couple the day we went. Some stops were great: níspero wine is so much better than regular wine! How is it not more popular? Also the honey we tried - amazing! Who knew citrus honey was so delicious? The seafood spot they took us to for lunch, Quechos Mariscos, was also quite fabulous.
Other stops were underwhelming though. We have done a number of chocolate tours in different countries and we thought the one on this tour was a little lackluster. Also we didn’t really spend too much time in the market, or learning about weaving in the textile store. The tortillas were okay.
If the stops were a little more interesting overall, it would have been an easy 5 stars. It was still a fun and lighthearted day if you want a break from all the history.
