Private tour - Horseback ride up to a pizza cook in a volcano and we got lucky and had a private tour. The communication was clear and everything was included. A little more expensive that other tours offered but worth the price to not be with a big group. We saw the big groups and we very happy to be with only our guide. Worth the price.

Volcano Horseback ride tour - We communited with Chris via whatsapp, very clear. Our driver spoke little English but was very kind, even got us some local snacks for the ride. Once we arrived to the volcanoe we met the local guides and enjoyed a ride up. It was cool going up to the top and then getting to see where the volcano exploded and took out everything in its path...and hearing the guides story about how he was a young boy when this happened made it even more intense. The pizza chef is very friendly too, he is famous for the tik tokers. The lava store was closed cause it was a sunset tour. Pizza was actually good too, lots of cheese and tasty. We didnt get much of a sunset cause it was cloudy on this day, but It still made good photos and everybody we met was in a good mood so we had fun. Going down in the dark was kind of scary at times but the horses were very well taken care of and never did I feel unsafe. Would recommend this tour to others.

Bucket list experience - Such a bucket-list experience. The views of the lava fields were stunning and roasting marshmallows over hot volcanic rock felt surreal. The guide jimmy had us laughing nonstop but also shared so much insight about the geology and local culture. Easily one of the best tours we’ve ever done.

Volcano pizza - We would recomend the experience, everything was as mentioned. Our driver was kind and friendly, not much english so we got to practice our Spanish, and upon arriving to the volcano our guide spoke english and told us a few stories. The horses seemed well cared for and the pizza was delicious. We were the only 2 people on the trip so it was very comfortable, and there were only a few other groups up top, the guide mentioned it was a quiet day

Epic - This tour was epic in every sense of the word. Horseback riding up an active volcano and then eating fresh pizza baked from the volcano’s heat. Guides energy made the experience even better — funny, organized, and super informative. You can tell he loves what he does.

Just do it - If you’re debating booking this — just do it. The horses were calm and well cared for, the views were insane, and yes… the pizza is actually cooked using volcanic heat. The guide kept us laughing the whole ride while sharing fascinating info about Pacaya’s history and eruptions. Such a unique experience.

Coolest thing we did in Guatemala - This was hands down the coolest thing we did in Guatemala. Riding horseback up Pacaya made the climb so enjoyable, and eating pizza cooked from the heat of the volcano was unreal. Guy was hilarious the entire time but also incredibly knowledgeable about the volcano and the area. The marshmallows over volcanic rocks were the perfect touch!
