Great way of exploring Krabi - A great way of seeing nature in Krabi! We expected a group tour but ended up being just us, the guide Otto and driver Leo which was great. Otto and Leo were amazing and knew how to get everywhere when it wasn’t busy so we avoided the crowds. The emerald pool and area are beautiful (we were the first people there!) and the hot springs really relaxing to sit in for half an hour. Beware of the tiger cave temple though - there was an extremely aggressive pack of monkeys at the top guarding the stairs. They ripped the backpack off my back and stole my camera (luckily I got it back after they got bored with it) even though I had no food or water. I’d recommend either not taking any belongings up there at all, or stop at the temple at around 1000 steps and enjoy the view from there, as the monkeys were really scary and it was a dangerous environment at the top. They were attacking anyone passing the stairs and even when you tried to get your shoes back after visiting the temple. I did a google search after and apparently bites are common - I wouldn’t have gone to the top if I’d known. Otherwise a wonderful trip and Otto and Leo did a 10/10 job, just think carefully about the temple! Thank you to WanderSiam.

Beautiful - It was a very intense day, with different activities, you get to see really beautiful places! The “walk” to the temple and the buddha are not to be underestimated! You need to be in good shape and good conditions, especially if you add the climate conditions! It was an intense, beautiful day

A very nice experience overall for my wife and me - Bas, our guide picked us up from our hotel on schedule at 8:00 am sharp. There was one other couple with us on the tour, so a total of 4 people. Bas made a good call of taking us to the hot springs first when it was cool early in the morning. We were the first people to reach there and hence he could enjoy taking a hot dip before other tourists started trickling in. As the hot springs area is very small it tends to get crowded later on in the day. Next, we visited the Emerald Pool. This is a larger pond and hence there was enough room even though it was quite crowded. Bas gave us a brief of the Crystal Pool and the Blue Pool which we are not allowed to enter. The blue pool bubbles when we clap. Finally, we headed to the tiger cave temple where we chose not to go to the top as it had about 1200 steps and it was a hot day so we gave it a skip. Instead, we roamed around the temple premises and saw a few caves and temples along an alternate path. Ended the day at around 3:00pm when we were dropped back to the hotel. A very nice experience overall.

Beautiful day out - We were collected by Otto and he was a super friendly guide from the off. We really enjoyed the first national park it was stunning and the swim in the lagoon was amazing, we stopped for lunch but we were not to hungry and just had chips and smoothies, second stop was ok - not as nice as first park and we did think the entry for both these are silly money ( for tourists nothing to do with tour guide ) our 10 y/o was charged as an adult . The Tiger caves was fabulous, seriously hard steps to the top took us 35 minutes but sweating. Great views . At the bottom monkeys were so naughty and opened my hubby’s bag. We wondered round to the monks caves as well and that was very interesting. All in all a great day , lots of beautiful exploring and Otto was a pleasure to spend the day with

Best trip in Krabi - Our guide, Otto, was brilliant. He was knowledgeable and informative. He helped us avoid the busy times so we felt we had the place practically to ourselves. The pools and jungle walk were stunning, absolutely loved the emerald pool Swim. The hot springs were also fun and just enough time at both to enjoy the experience. Climbing the tiger temple cave steps is certainly an endurance test and not for the faint hearted. It will be exhausting and you will drip with sweat. However, that view! You won’t be disappointed but you will sleep well! Otto made us a video of our day, a gorgeous memory, unexpected and much appreciated ❤️

A highlight near Krabi - Timm and the van stood outside my hotel door at 8am. Great news for me, I was alone on the tour. That was great. First we drove to the Emerald Pool, which was completely empty when we arrived. Since I wanted to go to the Blue Pool first, we went there and there we were the only ones because we had left early enough. The blue pool is just as beautiful as the Emerald pool only here bathing is prohibited. Back at the Emerald Pool I had enough time to go swimming in the wonderful and clear water. Along the way, Timm was able to explain a lot about plants and wildlife. We had lunch at a restaurant nearby. There was a small but delicious buffet with Thai dishes. The hot springs are also a special experience. It is best to bring swimming shoes here, as the surface is slippery and rocky. Another highlight is the Tiger Caves Temple. 1260 steps lead up. Once you’ve done that, you’ll have great views of the entire area. Fortunately, I had two hours to get up and down. For sporty people, the climb is possible in 40 minutes. All in all a very successful excursion with a lot of background information. A heartfelt thank you to Timm, who was an excellent companion and to the driver who took us safely from place to place. The trip is an absolute highlight here in the Krabi area.

Good experience but painful climb up - The experience was good but you should keep the tiger cave temple at first in the itinerary cause people can’t climb up after lunch. Any ways, the whole thing is good for me, also the guide Otto was very nice person!

A trip to experience nature and religion - We were picked up by a guide and driver and met others on the same tour. After a while we arrived at the Emerald Pool. Note you’re unable to bring food inside, your bag will be searched. There are quite a lot of expenses extra to pay on this tour which is strange. You’re only really paying for the transport and guide, though the guide was a nice guy and spoke to everyone, it would have been perfectly possible to do this trip without a guide. The hike up to the blue pool (without the guide) wasn’t really worth it in my opinion. I’d opt to spend more time in the Emerald Pool. After a while and at 11.30am you walk back to a restaurant for a buffet lunch, a bit early to be honest but perfectly cheap and affordable. After that you head to the Hot Springs which are really wonderful, though more walking. It’s disappointing the company doesn’t arrange the use of the electric buggies which other visitors were using. The hot springs were great and the guide was snapping away photographs. Finally, we head to the Tiger Cave temple where some of the group will opt for the 1267 steps uphill and they are steep, others can take a shorter and alternative route which doesn’t go to the top. Others sat and waited with the guide and it does take time. To be fair we were back by 4:45pm and we did enjoy the day. Just be prepared to bring cash to pay for your admissions as well as your bathing suit and towel are an absolute must.

Be prepared - Be prepared to walk, and bring at least 2000tb for one person one child more if bigger family cash as there is no eft and you have to pay cash for the entries and lunch. Our guide Otto was so good and funny :) the tiger temple is an extremely hard climb with aggressive monkeys trying to take your things. The pools and springs are worth the trip and Otto’s character ❤️
