The floats are maneuvered along the street by human effort, swaying back and forth, and spinning for the audience. These floats can be as wide as nine meters and as tall as five meters! The nebuta dancers, known as “haneto,” don vibrant costumes and energetically jump and dance while chanting “Rassera, Rassera.”
- If it rains, the festival will still go ahead, with nebutas being covered with large vinyl sheets
- Please prepare and wear a raincoat in case it rains, and refrain from using an umbrella as it obstructs the view of other visitors. (The seats are with no roof or sunshade.)
- According to the circumstances, it may not be able to see all the nebutas due to the limited time of traffic regulation.
- In cases of natural disasters, unforeseen disasters, coup d’etats, wars, strikes, or acts of God, it may not be possible to proceed with the tour.
