Inveraray Castle welcomes visitors from Thursday to Monday, from 1 April to 31 October.
- Kilchurn Castle - The journey continues past Kilchurn Castle, one of Scotland’s most photographed castles, situated on the shores of Loch Awe and beautifully surrounded by mountains.
- Oban - The next stop is the picturesque harbor town of Oban, known as the ‘Gateway to the Isles’, where there is time for lunch and to explore its horseshoe bay and visit McCaig’s Folly, a notable 19th-century tower reminiscent of Rome’s Colosseum.
- Castle Stalker - After some free time, the tour proceeds past the 15th-century Castle Stalker, located on a small island in Loch Laich.
- Glencoe Mountain - Glencoe is one of Scotland’s most atmospheric glens and the site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan.
- Luss Pier - In the charming conservation village of Luss on the ‘Bonnie, Bonnie Banks’ of Loch Lomond, visitors can stroll along the shore or enjoy the village before returning to Glasgow, where the Oban tour concludes.

Great experience - Robert, our driver told some interesting historic stories. Fun to see the highlands up close. We even saw some random hairy coos in some fields!

An Experience of a Lifetime - We did five private tours with Timberbush. All were coordinated through the bespoke consultant Paulina. She was awesome and incredibly helpful. I had to make a big change too all the dates I originally booked but Paulina was so patient and helpful and I could not appreciate her more!
Our Driver Guide was Chris. I can't say enough about him. He had four adults and two kids under the age of ten. He was so patient with my grandkids. We also had to deal with Storm Amy while we were there and it hit hard while on our tour of Glencoe. Chris managed to get us back to the hotel safe and sound and we appreciated his skilled driving and calm demeanor in the storm. He was also a very knowledgeable guide who answered all our questions and would recommend him to anyone looking to do a private tour with Timberbush.

Highlands is a must see - Absolutely loved it. Jerry was a great tour guide and the scenes are just breathtaking. Everything was very well organised and the history shared while driving was really interesting. Highly recommend.

A well planned excellent tour. - Michele our guide was very attentive to our needs, gave us a lot of insight into the areas we travelled, a good driver, safe and calm. We had plenty of stops for bathroom, drinks, and a good 2 hours for Lunch in Oban. The tour ended with a small dram, and a teacake, I would highly recommend this tour, the vehicle was comfy clean and well maintained. There are many beautiful photo spots, and we stopped to take these in. Many thanks to our guide. A credit to the company.

One tour, so much variety in scenery - I rated this tour a 5 out of 5.
Our tour guide Jerry was great. He provided lots of history about Scotland and also on the towns we were visiting.
