• 2601 Philip Ln - This course is designed to prepare travelers for their journey to Poland, equipping them with essential travel tips and answers to frequently asked questions about the country. Whether travelers are wondering about the currency to bring, the type of wall plug required, or which delicious Polish dishes to try, this class offers practical advice to maximize the experience of a first trip to Poland.

Each class is 75 minutes long. Sessions 2 and 3 will be scheduled according to the participants’ convenience.

This course is designed to prepare travelers for their journey to Poland, ensuring they are equipped with travel tips and answers to frequently asked questions about this beautiful country.

During three separate 60-minute sessions, the following topics will be covered:

1. Polish language with an emphasis on pronunciation: greetings and farewells, directions, and phrases such as “Excuse me,” “I am,” “Where is?” or “How much is?”. The use of Google Translate, Chat GPT, and Duo Lingo, a free language app, will also be discussed.

2. Travel tips with helpful handouts, including a list of gifts to purchase in Poland, popular dishes (you’ll enjoy more than just Pierogi!), books and movies to explore in your library and online, and a checklist of things to prepare before your trip.

3. Presentations on Poland’s geography, weather, government, currency, history, public holidays, and safety.
