A truly remarkable experience - If there is one thing you should do in Aqaba, if is to do this culture and food tour with Mohammed. First, I booked this for the wrong day and he was so accommodating, letting us move our tour to the next day. Walking through Aqaba and hearing Mohammed talk about the history of Aqaba and seeing the relationships he has as he takes you from shop to shop is incredible. He truly loves his country and city and wants to share that with others. We got to try so many amazing foods and learned so much about Jordanian culture. Mohammed is truly a gem. Do this tour and thank me later.

Highly recommended walking food tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - We had a great walking food tour from a local’s perspective. Mohammed was very personable and seemed to know everyone we met along the way! We got to sample a variety of local foods, from fresh fish to the famous local chip butty. Over a refreshing hibiscus tea at a local shisha bar, we asked Mohammed lots of questions about his culture and traditions, which he answered with warmth and insight. Overall, it was a fun, authentic experience, highly recommended!

Peeking beyond the tourist trail - We all sat at a"fast food joint" waiting in the gathering dusk 3 friends and I really weren't to sure what we'd let ourselves in for, we needn't have worried, along came a smiling Mohamed and welcomed us to his home city so we slipped into the night for an adventure so unexpected. For the next few hours we visited history, places of culture both past and present, unearthed treasures around the Suik, places such as spice shops, local arts music and crafts easly missed by any untrained western eye and thrilled our taste buds with food both up to date and signature dishes, talked to genuene friends of Mohamed. All the way round he gave us an insight to history and culture both of the present and past. You felt you had seen something of the real Jordan at the end, such a privalige, we all feel we know Jordan just a little better now thanks to you.

A great way to see the city from the locals' point of view - This was a fantastic experience. The guide made it memorable as he obviously enjoyed what he was doing and was eager to share his love of the city with us. It was just the four of us (plus the guide) and the tour went well overtime -- this is the opposite of a complaint! It was amazing to see the part of the city that the locals see and taste the food that is popular there. There is quite a bit of walking (no surprise there!) most of which is flat and easy. Go for this tour to see the real Aqaba.

Brilliant Walking Tour - Mohammed our guide, was brilliant. He went above and beyond to answer questions and to explain Jordian culture and the history of this region. We couldn’t recommend this enough as a way of seeing Aqaba including the fortress and the Souks.
